Artist Spotlight: Sunwriter aka Jake Green 🌞
Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, @sunwritermusic is a drum and bass producer and DJ known for his intricate percussion and immersive melodies. A lifelong drummer who has been playing since the age of 10, his deep rhythmic foundation is at the core of his sound, shaping the complex grooves and dynamic energy that define his productions.
Since his debut in 2023, he’s been igniting stages across Oklahoma and beyond with a signature fusion of liquid and halftime DnB. In 2025, stepping beyond familiar boundaries, Sunwriter teamed up with ENERGIII and LZRD to release the hard-hitting 140 single “Cerberus.” Now deep in the studio crafting his debut album, he promises that 2026 will not disappoint.

The time has come to announce that I’ll be performing at @terpfloatoklahoma this year!! I’m so stoked to get out there and showcase some new music and share the stage with so many skilled producers/DJs. Shout out to @ubuntu.productions and @terpfloatoklahoma for having me.
I will also be jamming out on the drum kit with @antelope.wav for the @wa.aev.vz live band set (will be the first time in my life I’ll be playing drums outside of heavy metal).
