Born to a tourist town on the south-east coast of Ireland, standing six foot tall in the right shoes, Peter spent his adolescence in a multigenerational household soaking up the history of his town and family through enriched stories of the local monuments.

Here is a little snippet of “Flower” by As Many As Possible who will be joining us in Crowley’s Music Shop on the 27th of September!!!
As Many as Possible is a chamber-folk ensemble from Dublin that creates emotive and atmospheric instrumental music. The project draws inspiration from compositional-ambient, folktronica, film-score, and modern-classical music and is characterized by fragile textures, intricate arrangements, improvisation and sound collage.
The project was started by guitarist and composer John Anthony McDowell in 2023. Naoise Dack (Glasshouse) plays violin, Ciara O’Neill plays piano, and Angie Yu plays electric guitar.

On a cool August Sunday last year, we had the privilege of staging Sunwell Tapes in Plugd Records for one of our famous 'Circle' shows. Ahead of the show, we were lucky enough to be able to record a number of performances with these three incredible songwriters, which we are sharing with you throughout the day.

Faoi Bhláth is an alternative-pop artist based in Cork, Ireland, She blends haunting melodies with inquisitive and melancholic lyrics, heavy with the darker side of the everyday.
Exploring femininity and Irishness, violence and innocence, power and faith, Faoi Bhláth will release her debut EP in August 2023.

Aubrey Hennessy is an independent singer-songwriter whose indie-folk music is composed of nostalgic lyrics and close harmonies with an unmistakable Irish flair.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Lisa Hannigan, Laura Marling and Junior Brother, Aubrey's music is shaped its emotion and storytelling.
In 2020 Aubrey released her first single, “Anseo” as Gaeilge, followed by “Plenty Days of Sun” and “Dive Back In”. She is currently working on a very exciting new release which will be free to open ears before the end of this year!

Fiona O' Connell is an independent singer-songwriter and producer whose ethereal folk music balances upon both her intricate vocal melodies and delicate approach to songwriting. Influenced by the likes of Joshua Burnside and Adrianne Lenker, she combines the simplicity of more traditional folk melodies with pop, ambient and electronic elements to weave a lane of her own.
In February 2023 Fiona released her debut single ‘Easily’. She is currently producing her next two singles due for release before the end of the year.
