Thank you, Jay and Caps and all the incredible artists, living and gone, for giving us folk the most beautiful gift we could imagine in the midst of all of this. There is no other festival on earth that can do what y’all did. This mantra makes me well up every time I say it aloud, and even more now when I sing “Goodnight, Irene” to my daughter and whisper it in her ear as she drifts off to sleep. My daughter (and one of my dogs) made their blink-and-you’ll-miss-it network television debut last night on the season finale of SNL (At Home)!! It has been the joy of my career to work on this show for the past decade. While it has been disappointing to be unable to contribute much right now, it has been such a comfort to have these episodes to turn to throughout all of this.
I am grateful for the incredibly hard work of all of those who put these episodes together over the past few weeks. I love you all! Thank you!
