Thanks to my daughter Naomi for posing this morning while I ironed out some glitches in the darkroom. All good, now. Naomi is an artist in her own right- scroll to see some of her fine barista coffee art. A chip off the old block.

Thanks for the commission from Nikki and Ben. Shot on 10x8 inch aluminium with the 270mm knuckler. Lovely morning stripey light.

This is Ruby, photographed on ruby-coloured glass. Jacaranda glass for Shane and cobalt for Will. Thanks to Natalie for buying Shane a gift voucher for family portraits for Christmas.
Anthony and I have been friends since studying Physio at UQ together 40 years ago. I gave him the soft focus treatment. Time to update your LinkedIn photo, Teddy!
Greg Postle, Australia's best bird artist, given a Hollywood glow by a 1920's Knuckler lens. This beautiful piece of glass has a dial to introduce a flattering softness to a portrait - the barrel is marked " sharp, 1,2, soft". Greg warranted a 2.
Romeo, Juliet and the Friar from the Little Seed production of the play at the Lake McDonald amphitheatre in May.

It was a pleasure to meet local writer Jemma Pollari. Look at this portrait of the typwriter taken with an el cheapo Congo lens. You can read the letters on the typeslugs! The third photo is taken with royalty - a 1920 Cooke Knuckler with a special dial to turn up the beauty - on amethyst glass. A lovely object to hold in your hands.

Thanks to Juy for sitting for his tintype portrait- love the button. And to Jordon. Lovely to meet you both.

Mouse the Dog nailed the photo in one take. Always hard to produce a winning smile with teeth for the camera. Thanks, Jordy. Incidentally, my first tintype portrait with a wide angle lens.
