Well that was fun! Not pictured: the ultra curated samples I made from the first Kentucky derby’s in the 1930’s @jcbsngltn & I were playing over ridiculously fast banjo music and old school Benny Goodman. Lots of old country and jazz and maybe a little too much Bob Wills cause he’s still the king. I used to sneak up to the balcony at a young age and listen to Jazz and smoke cigarettes here. Sometimes bring dates but mostly solo. It was an inspiring classy classic big city joint that I loved and love to this day.
