We are looking for places to install our banned libraries! Contact us if you are open to having a banned library installed in your front lawn, yard, or otherwise public facing property.
We are specifically interested in having one in the East End, Sunnyside, Pasadena, and Third Ward, but are open to more places!

Change of location - the garage sale will be at the Houston Climate Justice Museum, 3308 Garrow St! We are also at capacity for sellers, thank you to everyone for your interest! Weâre so excited to see you there đ¤
Weâre having a garage sale!! Come to buy/sell/swap and give your things a new home đ We have some space available if youâd like your own table, DM us if youâre interested!
- You can sell, swap, or give stuff away for free!
- If youâre selling/swapping youâll need to stay here with your stuff (if you leave we will donate your stuff â ď¸đ¤ - we want to leave Jersey House clean)
- If you just want to donate things, you can drop them off with us and either pick up anything left over at the end of the day, or we can donate it to Out of the Closet for you
We will also have a repair station for mending clothes and a bake sale benefitting Sunrise!

Since then and now, police have murdered two people on the Metro, one of them mentioned at the end of the video. @metrohouston how long will it take for y'all to learn that police presence on the bus doesn't make people safer?

JANUARY 31st!! âď¸đđ
Join our fundraiser at Book Cycle @thebookcycleinc 6-10pm. We will have the founder of Dreamers Bookstore and the founder of Houston Young Monarchs to talk about books and the HISD state takeover respectively. We will also have an open mic for people to share passages from their favorite books. There will be tamales, elote, frijoles charros, and more. Oh and weâll be making zines!
