Right before dance music went global, Holland already had an incredible scene for years. At the peak of that era, we were coming up as the new kids on the block, and the two biggest platforms at that time were Dirty Dutch with its raw, multicultural energy and Sneakerz, known for its more sophisticated and sexy crowd.
We loved both worlds and played on both stages, but Dirty Dutch was definitely where we really broke through, thanks to the massive support from @djchuckie and @official_idt .
The last track translates that moment in time. A combo of Chuckie’s Dirty Dutch sound and @gregorsalto ’s Sneakerz vibe. “Toys’r Nuts.”
So many unforgettable memories from that era.

The most powerful and valuable part of DJing to me is connecting people beyond their cultural differences or believes. When the music takes over we’re no longer defined by where we come from, only by the primal energy we share as humans. Keep dancing. ♥️

Last song in this episode always takes over my body haha.. We had a show with @yorubasoulofficial at Panama in Amsterdam back in the days. Osunlade joined us in the booth and i remember the crowd went hard singing along and cheering. Vibe was unreal.
Tried to relive that moment with pushing the volume to the max. Not everyone appreciates that :)))

First tune is one of the earliest tracks my boy @jaz_kuyper ever made. A looong time ago, he booked us at a club he was running. He was only 17, but already knew how to properly warm up a room something that was pretty rare back then, especially at that age. There was no Shazam in those days… still trying to find some of the tracks he played there :))
After that night, we took him on tour with us and became friends. In the end, DJ’ing and touring weren’t really his thing, so he decided to focus fully on his studio skills.
He’s been killing it ever since, putting out major records. We’re still working together today, and he’s a huge part of our journey.
