My submission for the @cocktailkingdom At-Home competition is a warming cocktail inspired by the cooler days transitioning into spring. I'm lucky to have a nice porch where I can get some fresh air and enjoy the outside without leaving home, and this drink helps to unwind from the tension and appreciate the seasonal weather.
2 oz Herradura Reposado
0.5 oz Fresh Lime
0.25 oz Cointreau
0.25 oz Muddle & Wilde Cinnamon Syrup
1 Dried Mandarin Wheel to garnish
Build from large to small in a shaker, add ice, shake hard, strain into a wide-mouthed glass, add garnish and enjoy!
After weeks of talking about it we finally made it out to the Clermont Hotel to enjoy a few drinks invented by a very talented friend. Needless to say the cocktails downstairs are top notch, but the roof also offers a fun and lighthearted alternative. Definitely a rad place to spend an evening 🍹
