@clevelandmuseumofart was an amazing venue for Teddy and Tudor to celebrate their partnership. It my first time at the museum and I was blown away at the beauty of the atrium.

Menswear Sketchbook. I look back at the flow of the pen and hear back the scratch of the ink and wonder ‘who is this magician?’ ‘He has control and confidence and an ease with his technique.’ I also see hesitation and trepidation and conflagration. A skip of the nib, the broken line, the pit in my gut!
The process is joy and pain.
Framing the portrait in the Menswear Sketchbook. I never quite know where the frame will end up. Will it interesect with an arm, the head, the body? Will it encompass the whole figure. The goal is to ground the figure and create a subtle sense of depth. A frame does both effectively and simply.
Picked up this vintage Levi’s Panatela Sports Coat last year. Sometimes it takes me a year or so to figure out how to pull something off.
This turned out to be a great riding fit. Paired with JCrew Oxford shirt and Polo trousers I’m finally ready for Spring.
