The Rose Gardens at Huntington Library are WOW. If you want to see them in full bloom, definitely GO NOW! stopping to "smell the roses" is waaaaaay more magical than you think in this place; What a spectacle of glimmering beauty. This wedding session with M&T hit at the perfect moment in spring for their wedding memoirs. Though they got married in a courthouse, they didn't want to go without having special portraits for their wedding memories, so they hired me to create these portraits to commemorate their story ...And honestly, I dont think they could have chosen a more magical place for these. We visited the cactus garden, The lilly pond, Rode Gardens, Chinese Garden, and Italian fountain, and i'm pretty sure that wasnt even half of the space. We could have spent all day in this incredible place. I cant wait to share more of these with you, but until them Take a look!

The word "fairytale" Doesnt quite feel good enough to depict the magic of this wedding. I have SO much to say about this day! But instead, I will leave you with these few images to imagine the rest. @ivymanortemecula @kissthebridehair_makeup

I love a good bridesmaids reveal. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen every wedding... BUT if the timing is right and the setup favors a moment like this, the bridesmaids showing their truest emotions, it never disappoints. Look at all these reactions right at the peak of anticipation! Can you imagine starting your day with this kind of encouragement? Gawd, its the best. #bridesmaids #weddingphotographer #socal #bridal #wedding

Gosh its been a while since I have gotten to put together a proper Flaylay. Coming from a wedding photographer, seems that a lot of couples are recently opting out of these precious little setups and allotting time towards other things like mingling at cocktail hour and late night photos. It makes so much sense to me that (if they were pitted against the choice) anyone would choose to spend time on their precious day with people that traversed from out of town to celebrate with them. But selfishly, I wish they might add time or sneak in some way to include flatlays like these. In any case, I love how my clients choose to spend their time and love their people, their wedding day, and the moments that fly by with haste. THOUGH, I would never want to convince someone to give up any of those warm memories for a more decorative moment. BUT... if we can add it in, then I will absolutely be all over styling these shots faster than you can say please. #flaylay #losangeles #wedding #photographer #Japenesegarden

I need this wedding to take up more space on my grid, because it was just phenomenal. Cape Horn Estate SCREAMED of natural beauty and incredible landscaping with the mountain view of the Columbia Gorge and the brilliant florals that surrounded the entire property. It is unmatched with its unique and jaw-dropping scenes. But far past the beauty of the estate, MacKenzie and Dan just shined with their love for each other and their family&friends all day long. Their focus was on the beauty if the environment and their love for adventure. Minus the sunburn, I would do it ALL over again just to rewatch their unhindered joy shine everywhere. #weddingphotographer #capehorn #columbiagorge #gardenwedding

I only deliver about 5% OR LESS in black and white. But when they make their appearance, they are chosen with intention and lots of love. These little gems from Morgan & Cole's dreamy engagement session spoke to me in an extra special way that felt even better completely colorless. Something about black and white just makes the energy change and my eyes to see a completely different part of an image compared to full color. I really love it. #weddingphotographer #portland #PNW #engagementpictures #moultonfalls #fairytale

I have waited TWO YEARS for someone to finally let me take them up to my favorite place... and WOW it did not disapoint. Moulton Falls Is one of the most incredible spaces that I have been to. I'm not sure if its the unreal teal-colored water or the serenity thats washes over every inch of the space, but it makes me stop and just stare every which way I turn. Its beauty called to me since the first time I visited and I'm FINALLY able to share a few images that reflect its beauty with this amazing pair for their engagement session. Morgan & Cole showed up ready for anything and they made magic. They traversed the rocky terrain with more grace and romance than I could have imagined and turned this session into their engagement fairytale. I'm so impressed with them! Just keep swiping and see what I mean. I just cant decide which image is my favorite. Once again, I'm giddy with these two and how their pictures came together. #weddingphotographer #moultonfalls #Washington #engagement

I get frustrated that phones are in portrait orientation and I'm forced to always be on the hunt for my favorite "portraits." But literally half the time, my favorite photos are landscape. So out of rebellion for what I'm "supposed to do" on social and a tribute to some of my favorite photos I give you *drumroll* Little People, Big Landscape - Joshua Tree Version Tiffany & Josh, Thanks for having me along on your engagement session/adventure in your favorite place to climb. Lets do it again, but wedding version next round 😘

Capturing all these fairytale moments has been one of the most life-giving things I have done with my life and looking back at these images gives me more perspective than i thought it might. I have seen countless couples get married in the most scenic places with the day covered in such elegance. But what stands out to me the most is the wonderful people that I have had the honor to work with. The amount of love, generosity, compassion, and dedication these people have has changed my life in ways I never knew would. It has made me think deeply about how I love, how I see people, and how my point of view is only just mine. Each person is so unique and such a gift that I cannot let mine become my only narrative. These people carry endless beauty and stories to be told. Weddings aren't just about the show, they are truly about love stories that persevere. And with that sentiment, I feel like capturing people's days is so much more than pretty imagery, its about writing the story of their souls intertwining and merging with their families, ready to create new chapters and generations of love. When you hire me, you get more than a person creating pictures. Youre inviting me to preserve who you are entirely in that moment and all the significance around you. I dont take that lightly.
