🌟 Light bringer 🌟
Anna Di Mauro, born in 1968 in Catania, was reborn as an artist in 2000, discovering painting as a new way to understand and express herself. A self-taught artist initially, she found solace in art. Under the guidance of a painting master, she learned increasingly effective tools to convey her emotions through forms and colors. Driven by her creative spirit, over the years, she has played with her artistic vein, experimenting with various pictorial languages until developing her current technique, which is based on complementary colors harmonizing with one another and on strong lights and shadows that “dance” on the canvas, seeking and repelling each other.
Anna gives life to her works as a mother gives life to her children, growing with them, gradually discovering and understanding herself. Through her art, she learns new things about herself and the world, gaining a fresh perspective that narrates and describes her with colorful emotions—new yet familiar.
Anna Di Mauro has participated in numerous contemporary art exhibitions, such as the Contemporary Art Triennial held at the "Le Ciminiere" Exhibition Center in Catania, the Visual Art Exhibition Experimentation and Languages at Palazzina Minio, the 9th Contemporary Art Exhibition Art Today at the Emilio Greco Museum in Catania, and the event Virtual Confined Art (promoted by the Accademia Federiciana during the 16th Contemporary Art Day organized by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums (AMACI) with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of MiBACT (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation).

Whispering Leaves
Despite the weight of sadness,
Like a swallow’s flight, I yearn to soar high,
The sun emerged, behind the clouds it gleams,
Radiant and beautiful, a sight that beams.
Too far to touch, its radiance overwhelms, Yet from its warmth, my heart longs to be embraced.
For in its embrace, love’s intoxicating glow,
I’ll find a place to belong, a heart’s truest show.
Let me cross the sky, with love as my guide,
No matter the burns, I’ll cherish this ride.
With red leaves whispering, my heart’s sing along with the wind in love’s sweet grace.
