Mother’s Day always hits a little different for me ❤️
I don’t share too much about my personal life often, but becoming a mother young shaped so much of who I am… and honestly it’s probably why I have that dog in me now 😂
When I was the age my daughter is now (20), I was working full time, in school full time, completing an internship and trying to navigate motherhood all at once.
There’s no way I could’ve done any of it without the support of both of her grandmothers. My mother made sure I stayed the course and finished school all the way through graduate level… and if you know Jamaican mothers, you already know 😂
Everything I’ve built was possible because I had a village behind me. MY MOM! She was also my first door girl for @truvibezclt 🤣 alongside @sunkissed_nik 🫂
I am who I am and I’m able to be myself so boldly and loudly because of the people who believed in me first. My mom has always been my #1 MVP 🤍
Three generations. One legacy of love, sacrifice and resilience.
