It's a border battle kind of day ⚾🍺 Our Minnesota Twins take on the neighbors to the east. You know the drill. We’ll be cheering on our side—with a Summit in hand, of course.

One of the highest-ABV beers produced at Summit Brewing – Sága Imperial. With a perfectly balanced 9% ABV, this IPA boasts an explosion of flavors like notes of tangerine, pine, sweet stone fruit, and caramel, all complemented by a honey malt base. Fun fact: The shape of your glass changes how your beer smells and tastes! Bigger, bolder beers—like an Imperial IPA—do best in a wide, open glass that lets those aromas shine and smooths out the sip. 🍺

Myth: Dark beer is stronger than light beer 🍺 Not always the case! Color comes from roasted malts, not alcohol content. Some dark beers are actually lower ABV than lighter ones—it just depends on the brew. Cheers!

It’s back — and it’s pouring tomorrow, May 1. Our iconic Maibock returns exclusively on tap in the Ratskeller for a limited time. This traditional German-style blonde bock is brewed with classic malts and Czech Saaz hops, bringing a smooth toasted sweetness with just the right touch of spice on the finish. It’s bold, it’s seasonal, and it’s made for celebrating. And honestly… is there a better way to welcome spring than with a fresh pint of Maibock in hand? See you in the Ratskeller! 🍻

April's Behind The Brew: Meet Kyle! Kyle has been with Summit for just over two years, bringing great energy (and great taste) to the team. When it comes to beer, he’s all about variety — with favorites including EPA, Porter, Hefeweizen, and Saga Sensation. Outside the brewery, Kyle is a lifelong hockey fan and player, repping the L.A. Kings all the way. Originally from Southern California, he made the move out here in 2020 — and we’re glad he did. Cheers to Kyle! 🍺🏒

To celebrate 40 years of Summit Brewing Company 🍻 we got to sit down with founder Mark Stutrud and hear the whole story — starting with just 5 employees in 1986 and building Summit into one of Minnesota’s most iconic breweries. We’re talkin’ the early grind, how Mark got into brewing, the creation of EPA, building the brewery, sourcing equipment from all over the world, and dialing in the science + art behind 50+ beers — plus all the surprises, challenges, and wins along the way. For now, here’s a sneak peek 👀 Stay tuned this summer for a deeper dive on all things @summitbeer straight from Mark himself! What a legacy! 🍺

Ever wonder why beer tastes REALLY good on tap? Hint: it's not just because it's a fresh pour! It comes down to the details—clean lines (every 2 weeks - no exceptions here!) and spotless glassware (no soap, no residue) are just two pieces that have a LOT to do with the taste of your brew. Come try one at the Ratskeller - you'll see that it just hits different.
