Bathtub Hooch is back! Your cool uncle’s favorite band is ready to rock Time To Kill Campout 2026, playing all the fuzzed out rock you can handle, plus a batch of fine, high-energy originals that will raise the vibe of any festival lineup.
Your host for the Campout, Garrett Burris, fronts the band alongside Austin Stark and new bassist Corey Neidigh. The group is back from a 7 year hiatus, and ready to rock Illinois.
In addition to great bands all afternoon and evening, the show will include camping, food/drinks, yard games, and discounts to our other 2026 festivals. Pinky’s, The Rusty Reel, and the brand new Lake Sara Beach are all right next door!
It’s all going down at The Stage at Lake Sara on May 24th as part of Time To Kill Campout 2026 presented by Summer Sundown.
Tickets are $15 adv / $20 dos and can be purchased at possmusicworks.com.

ABOUT SSMF
Poss Music Works is thrilled to announce this eclectic lineup of artists from Illinois (and beyond!) for Summer Sundown Music Festival 2026.
Our mission is simple: help define, celebrate, and grow the sound of Illinois music. This year’s artists represent a cross-section of Central and Southern Illinois, alongside select regional and national acts that elevate the bill and bring fresh energy into the scene.
We’re not focused on genre. We’re focused on connection, discovery, and community.
For one late-summer lakeside weekend, we bring artists and music lovers of all ages together for original music, workshops, connection, and relaxation. Our goal is to connect regional music scenes and build lasting relationships.
If you believe in supporting live, original music, we hope you’ll join us for the 7th annual Summer Sundown Music Festival.
We're dropping the 🌊 FINAL WAVE announcement at 10AM tomorrow morning (May 1st!) and our weekend pass pricing will go up at midnight!
Grab your passes today to save $10 plus fees & take a chance on the rest of the lineup (you’re gonna like it).
Join us at the lake and we'll #SeeYouAtSundown 🤘🌅🎸

Thank you for choosing Summer Sundown and helping define “Illinois music.” As we head into our 7th year, we’re proud of how far this grassroots festival has come. Putting on live music in 2026 means pushing back against rising costs, the ever increasing pull of the couch, and the closure of small venues and festivals across the region. This is why we’re adjusting pricing to keep the festival accessible for you and your family.
We’re committed to bringing up-and-coming talent, local legends, and amazing national acts to Lake Sara. Sure, you can spend big money on a stadium show with giant screens and a PA system that sends the sound to you from 3 football fields away. Add parking, a babysitter, and a couple of $13 beers and you get a perfectly fine evening (and a sore wallet).
We offer something different—you'll see dozens of artists over 3 days on a lineup built around the mission of "defining Illinois music." Fiercely independent, original, community-focused and influenced by our place right here in the middle of everything. We celebrate working Illinois musicians, regional powerhouses, national acts on the rise, and longtime favorites. Solo artists to full bands with horns and fire dancers. Every act leaves it all on the stage. This is where you come in …
You'll hear new sounds from across the Midwest and gain a renewed appreciation for the homegrown music of Central Illinois. Everything is curated to create an unforgettable, affordable, and accessible weekend for you and the music lovers in your life. You get workshops, yoga, vendors, community-building activities, kids’ activities (kids 15 and under get in free,) great drinks, great food, & a few hundred new friends. Help keep this scene alive. Your part is simple: buy the ticket, take the ride. We will bring the magic.
