From my most recent visit with my Dad. We went to the El Paso Gem and Mineral Show. It’s not a very big show but there were still some amazing pieces and stones to look at!
My Dad donated a bunch of solid raw stones that have not yet been cut open to the non-profit Gem Club that puts on that event. He’d been hanging onto those since the 80s I believe! (I don’t remember what kind of stones they were. Not turquoise of course!)
Anyways, always lots of things happen when we are together.
It was a lot of fun! We are both goofballs!

Another road trip from Los Angeles out to El Paso, TX to see my Pops! We made jewelry most days… and I will be sharing more about our process…
I took the more scenic route home via Albuquerque. I stopped for Silver supplies in Gallup, NM and got caught in a crazy rain storm in Gallup, NM.
