Well after almost a whole year of working on this, I’m so excited to announce that I’ve created my first kids book, A Honu World! It’s about a honu (sea turtle in Hawaiian) who gets plastic stuck on his fin so he has to go to each sea creature and ask for help to get it off! Eventually Rava takes off the plastic, signifying that if we all do our part, it can be a whole new (Honu) world! Each page is hand drawn and painted! It’s been a long road, but I’m just so thankful to finally have the books here! I’ll be doing a book launch next weekend with the Sunrise Shack at the Twin Fin Hotel upstairs at the Coconut Club!!! Please come and hang it’ll be so much fun ☀️ For now, I have linked in my bio how to preorder the book & how to get tickets for the event 🐢🐙🌊🐠. also if you know of any elementary classes in hawaii that has limited fund and would benefit from this books I want to donate and share this book for all kids❤️
So thankful to have been able to paint for my favorite cafe ever - @sunriseshack ,- this time, up in Shark’s Cove!! I’m even more thankful that my dad got to be a part of painting it too☀️ I wanted to incorporate the map of North Shore, but also make it fun and interactive where you can sit next to your favorite rooster and cat, Sunny, that always are working at this shack!
I’m excited to be a part of the Sunrise Shack’s new store in Haleiwa!!!! This was my first time painting a surfer and I was really nervous about it, but now I want to practice and do more!! I’m even more grateful to be a part of this family and even bring my dad in on it to paint the boats and the special memories of some of my dear friends sailing!
So thankful I got to run a marathon today!!! And to have been able to paint this wall for @studio7hawaii !! And for the best friends ever !!! And mainly for God gifting me legs to be able to do this! I should’ve taken better care of them and trained for this but I’m just happy to have been a part of this!! Oh also so thankful I ended getting to run the whole thing with @morgiemower !!
