After some quiet time we are back… As some of you know our second home, Bar18, has closed. As a result we have been looking for new venues to keep with the vibes and the beats, keeping the same intimacy between the dancers and the artists. This session we are having some local djs invited to light up the dance floor at our intimate space at @bar.18.bcn : CAAMAÑO: A progressive techno DJ / Producer based in Barcelona, has gained international recognition, performing in top clubs and alongside DJs like Anabel Arroyo and Franco Rossi. DUARTEC: SOM resident DJ printing tribal sound with a define percussion inspired in the propulsive 90’s rhythms. GLTZR: is a techno minimal DJ, weaving hypnotic and deep soundscapes that immerse listeners. Before making their debut on the techno scene with 2017’s Dream State, BRÄLLE spent nearly a decade immersed in the relentless world of underground Death Metal and Hardcore—composing albums and touring globally. Stepping away from that realm did little to extinguish the drive to craft visceral and emotionally charged music. Out of this transition, BRÄLLE was born. This rich history lends the producer a distinct vantage point on the global electronic music landscape, existing far beyond the confines of fleeting trends and insular cliques. With releases on labels such as Soma, Mindtrip, Evilgroove, and his own imprint, Adversarial Machines, BRÄLLE’s sound is a swarming fusion of the psychedelic and the modern. Sum of Methods invites: Sum Of Methods invites @dani_duran_ to our next intimate session at @bar.18.bcn Dani Durán has been a prominent name in the techno scene since the early 2000s, inspired by artists like Surgeon, Takaaki Itoh, Ben Sims, and James Ruskin. His career began at Deep Club in Madrid, where he developed his distinctive style. Dani has performed at top venues in Madrid, including CODE (Fabrik), Blackworks, BCCO, Utopía, and Specka, as well as iconic clubs across Spain, such as Family Club, Florida 135, and OROSCO. In 2024, his debut tour in Colombia marked a milestone in his growing international presence. As a resident DJ and co-promoter at ETHOS Alternative Club, he played a pivotal role in curating its unique sound. In production, Dani debuted with the EP Around the Chaos (2018) on LABRYNTH Label and has since collaborated with labels like BCCO, Utopia Society, (R)3Volution, West Rules, Evil Groove, Reverse, Hyperfocus, PRTL WRX, Diffuse Reality, and Einz Records. His tracks have gained support from techno icons including Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, Dvs1, Justine Perry, Ben Klock, Takaaki Itoh, Alexander Kowalski, Kaiser, Truncate, Marrøn, Rødhåd, Chlär, Arnaud Le Texier, Kr!z, Marcel Dettmann, Cari Lekebusch, The Advent, Rene Wise, Shlomi Aber, Setaoc Mass.
