Sometimes i need to focus on one noise, sound, or conversation when i work. But my mind doesn't always give me that. So i developed a love for collecting interesting documentaries and or commentaries, which really helps me to focus. I thought to start sharing some great "noise dimmers" (as i like to call them) that i found inspirational in one way or another. What have you enjoyed watching or listening to lately, do share in the comments if you have any
A reminder to be creative on your own terms.
Its alot of noise to cut through, but right at the middle is everything you see when you think of expressing yourself....
"Creative Liberation" Is giving yourself a chance to embrace the vision, no matter how noisy it gets.

Project; VLISCO Fashion Fund 2019
Finalist runway creation.
This was the first fashion competition i ever entered for, and on a National level at that. Wasn't entirely sure what to expect but i wanted to challenge myself, i was going crazy wondering if ill even make the shortlist. Hundreds of entries and the email came through to just 15 of us. I remember thinking..."wow! Im actually good enough" and then sweating profusely after😅
The entire experience changed the way i saw myself and i'll always pull from it, because first runner up was not too shabby for a fashion newbie, and im even more proud that i crafted this entire collection myself and creative directed the visuals infact i dont even know if my current self could execute this amount of work on my own today. All this to say...do it afraid🩷
Did you know Vlisco textile brand growing up?
