“A Mosquito In The Ear” premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Wednesday, February 4th at 8pm. To myself and the few that made it out and the rest of the incredible sound team all across the country, it was the final finish line in a long process and hard work. I started on this film as the supervisor at the start of January in 2024. This film had the opening and flexibility to do something I had always wanted to do. Which is to go back to my college and bring a real film, with real stakes, with real hard deadlines and work and learn on a real post-sound team. Through interviews and sound tests we ended up with 13 incredible students that would graciously take time out of their summer to make a movie. Through countless days, nights, tutorials, mess ups, accomplishments, surprises and hard work the incredible team created something extremely special with bringing this story to life through sound. It was a pleasure to work with them, they are all incredible sound workers and they inspire me still. I will look back on all those days and nights of working with them very fondly. Truly for me, one of the greatest accomplishments and privileges in my life.
Cheers and bravo to the wonderful team which was…

2025 was a pretty busy year! I wanted to commentate and see the projects I had the pleasure of working on that released in 2025 or ones I had worked on in 2025!
I was very fortunate and lucky to work on have worked on more projects during 2025 that have yet to release but it makes me realize even when work can be very slow for myself and everyone in the industry it’s good to look back on what hard work you had done in the year or previous years to still see how lucky you are and take the time to slow down and appreciate all the wonderful and talented filmmakers and sound professionals you have the opportunity with working with.
Thank you to all the wonderful filmmakers and fellow soundies that I have the pleasure of working with. I appreciate you all so much and I’m excited to see what more in the future there is to come!
What a nice surprise!
An @honorofkings game cinematic I was the supervising sound editor for won a @musicandsoundawards for Best Sound Design in a Game Cinematic. This project was a super fun and rewarding experience to say the least.
It was great to collaborate with @tencentgames and TiMi Studio Group on this one. This cinematic definitely required a lot of outside-the-box sound design and creativity. And if you know sound people, we live for opportunities to push boundaries :-)
Shoutout to my amazing sound team on this:

I was inspired by going to HARD Summer this past weekend to do a new mix. I’ve had these tracks sitting on my computer for a bit so thought I’d have a nice night and light some incense and mix some tunes.

American Thunder: NASCAR to Le Mans is out now on @primevideo .
Post Sound Team:
Supervising Sound Editor/Re-Recording Mixer - Matt Reisinger @mraud.io
Dialogue Editor - Zak DeVries @zakdevries
Sound Effects Editor/Sound Designer - Myself
I had one hell of a time working on this thing, I was given pretty much full permission to go wild and bring to life the epic beast that is the NASCAR car that went to Le Mans in 2023. I beefed up recordings with analog saturation, compression and sub harmonics and created a rich library of interior perspectives and whooshes, hits and crashes for this incredible movie. I hope you enjoy it and make sure to play it LOUD.
Thanks so much for @mraud.io for bringing me on. We had a great team and Matt did a wonderful job of leading us and making this thing shine in the mix.

Duster premiered tonight on Max or I guess now HBO Max!
This is what I call “your dad’s favorite show”, just a rip roaring stylish 70’s crime comedy and drama meant to have fun, be very groovy and at least in our side meant to work out those speakers!
Supervising Sound Editor and sound effects and designer, the man, the myth and the legend @mrzoydweelr
I feel very honored to work together every time and it’s always a deeply fun and inspiring time. Nothing will beat just chatting day in and day out and popping in and out of sessions to check what each other were doing.
Beautifully mixed by @twizlinz and @bordersracing
The master of the voice, dialogue supervisor and editing by @kat.madness
Excellent detailed and beefy Foley by @bespoke_post
We hope you give a chance and check it out! Make sure to turn up that sound system for the muscle cars, punches and rockin’ music.

My allergies have been killing me or I’ve come down with a cold. Elie (our cat) thought it’d be great to have a chill night of hot tea, green apples and a selection of downtempo and trip hop music while Grace was away hard at work in Mexico.
Elie hopes you enjoy her and I’s mix of downtempo music for your enjoyment!
It’s an extreme honor and privilege to have won two awards last night at the Motion Picture Sound Editor’s Golden Reel awards. We won for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing Broadcast Animation for the Warhammer 40k episode of “Secret Level” and Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing Feature Documentary for “The Blue Angels”.
Thank you so much to the MPSE, to my incredible supervisors Robby Stambler and Matt Yocum, Pacific Standard Sound and the incredible teams I had the pleasure of working with on Secret Level and The Blue Angels. Also a massive shoutout to the beautiful excellent wonderful incredible partner and my stylist for the awards @itsgracetaylor . She absolutely killed it and is my incredible support system.

All 15 episodes of Secret Level are now out on Amazon Prime Video!
This was one of the most rewarding, challenging and deeply fun shows that I’ve had the honor of working on. I was knee deep in experimentation and sound design on this and I’ve never made such a large bespoke library of fresh sound effects before. The team put in an insane amount of time, work, love and passion into this. We hope you really enjoy it as much as we had a blast working on it.
Thank you so much to @mattyocumsound for being the insanely hardworking sound supervisor and sound designer. He made an impossible task into one kickass reality. His immense hours of hard work and coordination allowed us to all make something special. I think he deserves a cookie or a gold star at the very least.
Massive shoutout to the incredible sound effects editors and sound designers I worked alongside with one on one who are @thenolanmc and @jafbox . These guys are truly incredible designers and I’ve learned so much from them. They also deserve a cookie or gold star.
A massive shoutout to the ones who make our lives easier, more efficient and support us in every way.
