Celebrating a true legend and one of my dearest friends, Eddie Murphy. A lifetime of brilliance, laughter, and unforgettable moments. So well-deserved. 🏆✨ #LifetimeAchievementAward
It was such a pleasure getting to spend time last week with some of the incredible team from @ChildrensLA . These people are miracle workers, bringing joy to children and families every day and I’m in awe of their work!
Getting a closer look at the work being done within the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism is always inspiring. The level of care, innovation, and dedication to children and families facing type 1 and type 2 diabetes is truly remarkable.
This is exactly why the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation continues to fight—to help fund life-changing research, treatment, education, and support for those who need it most. We are getting so excited for our Annual Charity Boxing Night on 5/20!
Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and continue this important mission together. 🥊👊🏿

I’m grateful to know that “Sugar” could inspire someone across the world in a completely different craft.
At the end of the day, it’s not just a name — it’s about the work, the dedication, and the love for what you do. Respect to Suga for carrying that forward 🙏🏾
Why is Sugar Ray Leonard considered a legendary boxer and one of the best ever?
Sugar Ray Leonard’s greatness came from a rare combination of hand speed, power, superb footwork, elite-level ring intelligence, immense heart, and exceptional versatility, which allowed him to outbox his opponents and adapt to any style. He combined ferocious offensive combinations with defensive skills and incredible toughness, which helped him cement his legacy by being the only boxer of his era to defeat Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and Wilfred Benítez.
He is a 1976 Olympic gold medalist who later on dominated the 1980s with his elite boxing style, who won world titles in five weight classes (welterweight, super welterweight, middleweight, super middleweight, and cruiserweight divisions), and who broke the record by becoming the first boxer to earn over $100 million in purses.
He is remembered as a very complete boxer, one of the most skilled and tactical fighters in boxing history, with a natural ability to blend the artistry of Muhammad Ali with a ruthless finishing instinct and such a charismatic persona, which secured his spot as an International Boxing Hall of Famer and undoubtedly assured his status as one of boxing’s all-time greats, a true living legend.

Nights like these are what it’s all about — friends, community, and giving back at the Reggie Jackson “Mr. October” charity event earlier this month. 👌🏿
