coolest toy of my life ͙͘͡★ from 80s japan, so impeccable . found at an old toy store in hokkaido 🎲 jaw dropped when the first image came to life !! so many outfit, hair, pose combinations and they all fit together perfectly .... ✏️☆ the back of the pieces have different patterns for the clothes - from argyle to checkered to floral and more. simply insane 🧸 this system truly is pure genius. i can only hope kids these days still have toys this innovative and fun with no power required 💭🪽

shiseido's members-only club hanatsubaki issued really beautiful gift sets throughout the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. this one from 1998, 'fleur excellente', was a collaboration between shiseido and legendary tiffany's jewelry designer, angela cummings. a silk pouch, bristle brush, hand mirror, and comb all inspired by the "lotus primitif" motif. absolutely obsessed ♡ this may just be the start to my vintage shiseido collection
