As you already know, on 28th of November, 2026, Sudo Gala 2nd Edition is going down! And on that night , you’ll have a good time, a very good time indulging and engaging in beautiful fashion expressions, music and culture!!
We already know why fashion and music, but why Culture??
Well, we simply put it in Swahili; mwacha mila ni mtumwa!!
We celebrate East African and mainly South Sudanese culture on this night for cultural heritage preservation, to appreciate our beautiful and diverse cultures we’re blessed with and to promote cultural tolerance and to simply have a good time!!

Sudo Gala is about celebrating East African music,fashion and culture, but why music?
Music is a universal language but most importantly, music exists in our everyday lives, on sad days we’ve sad songs to help us through those difficult moments, on happy occasions we’ve songs of joy to help us celebrate 🎉 good times. Music is the only language that speaks to everything in our lives, even during the days of liberation, music was there to see to it that African continent was liberated 👌 and so there can never be The Sudo Gala without Music! On 28th of November, 2026, music will be there to speak happiness, love and the beauty of the moment to your soul!

Hello beautiful people!! 7 days into 2026!! We just want to say Happy Belated New Year!! We’re happy to start this year with you again, we hope that it’s gonna be a year of blessings and good vibes!! Talking of Vibes, our 2026 calendar is full of fun activities and we shall be rolling out soon!! And of course the heart of the year is the Sudo Gala Second Edition!!! Yes it’s coming soon and this year it’s going to be bigger and better!! Last year was a trial , this year we’re doing it big time 👊💪. When we talk about volatility and multi-talent, @lcjmach is definitely one of the artists you can’t miss in the list.one fun fact about his work is that HIS SONG JURU FEATURING MILTON KIZZY WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE CREATION OF THIS PROJECT 🫶💪, and true to us , even the audience have agreed that he’s one of the most underrated artists and that’s why we have him here today as the 9th most nominated. We can say it has not been easy but we’re here finally!! It was the first time to do this project and we can say it’s a milestone that we’re here today!
If your favourite artist is on the list , this is your last chance to support them!! Remember we at Sudo Gala are not nominating any artist, you the audience is deciding who proceed and close the open nominations!!! Simply fill in the form and submit cost free!! To all the artists who’ve made to the list, this is a clear indication that you’re doing amazing and your fans and audience do see what you do,if we had the capacity we would proceed with all of you but unfortunately we don’t. We wish you the best!
This process has shown us so much about somethings about our music scene and we shall be sharing some of these once the open nominations close so that we can know how best we can support our artists in various aspects.This project was started just for that purpose, to put our artists in the spotlight and encourage our community to support us ways that are simple but very impactful in their music career such as subscriptions to their YouTube channels and more.
