This weeks Tuesday tune is dedicated to our hard working drum machines over the years that never misses a beat (not technically true, but even machines have off days 😁) Steam was a double Aside along with Grooving in Green released in 1982.
We went through a few iterations of machines from the Boss DR55 in the early days, to the Roland TR-606 and then a LinnDrum. Tom recalls that we also used a TR-808 live on occasion. We are back with another Tuesday tune. Track two on the 1982 'Religious as Hell' 7inch, Fodder. Described by Rosie as "two minutes of batsh*t nonsense"🤣. At around two minutes twenty three seconds and over 170bpm it's pretty clear the band had consumed too much coffee that day😁😲🌨

Taken from our 2024 Album, Crocodile Promises, here's 'Bite the Hand'. One of Rosie's favourite tracks on the album and described by Tom as the "angriest" track on the album. @nosniborchristopher at Aural Aggravation website had this to say... ‘Bite the Hand’ is a tangle of metallic, trebly, chorus-hazed guitar against a thrumming bassline and pumping mechanised drum machine, and it’s got the hunger and edge they displayed back in ’83

Are you feeling groovy? Tuesday's tune this week is our 1982 track, Grooving in Green. It was a double A side single along with Steam. The cover is a photograph of the funerary statue, Blessed Ludovica Albertoni by the artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It was on the Merciful Release label and reached number 14 in the UK Indie charts.
