These guys have been collabing quite a bit in recent years to great effect - you might have caught some other tunes of theirs on 2 wicked releases on Silent Force and Over/Shadow.
There's a lovely positivity to the keys in this one - something you can definitely drift away to ... but that doesn't mean it's not gonna make ya move !
Absolutely love how the guys made the drum machine sound so funky here - layering the hits with some choice breakbeat snatches and fx they got a serious groove goin' on between it all !
The watercolour painting on the vinyl label that's playing is actually by my daughter Eve - this was her first attempt at drawing a rainbow when she was 3 years old - watercolour dreams indeed ❤️

Bit of a back story for ya ...
A little over 30 years ago, having just turned 15 I picked up an album called 'Darkside II - Jungle & Technology' at Blackspot Records in Limerick - still one of my fave compilations ever released 🥁 😮 🙏 It turns out one of the tunes was by a guy called Chris Howell aka Luna-C ... fast forward to 2026 and now here he is holding an album on a label I run called Subtle Audio 😀 ... small world ...
If you click thru on the photo carousel you can check out the sleeve of that Darkside II album - that's actually Chris on the front of it he's barely changed in 30 years, you just might not have recognised him with the sunglasses and the blue rinse 😁

Big up to everyone who locked in for the last episode of the Subtle Audio Show live on Jungletrain! There was quite a wide spread of styles n eras across the set - from #atmospheric n #oldskool to #drumfunk and #jungle some #tribal and #techy sounds and even 140bpm jungle, breakbeat & dipping down closer to 100bpm for the last tune. Really enjoyed playing off the cuff and piecing all these different kinds of #beats together.
Featured a few recent releases, most from the tail-end of 2025 from the likes of Andy Odysee, Icon Roller and sumthin older from Ricky Force that just got a fresh remix from oldskool legend Neil Trix / FBD Project. Also played something from Ben Kei & Fushara on the excellent Constellations label that dropped this time last year.
There's a slew of unreleased bits spread across the selection - listen out for something from Lucio M forthcoming on the excellent Stasis label based in Toronto, a wicked smooth sounding number from Enjoy and a really rowdy (unofficial) remix of a big tune from the mid-nineties - not sure this will ever see the light of day, but it certainly deserves to!
On the Subtle Audio front - thought I might give a sneak preview of a few releases planned for later this year. Listen out for some huge favourites by Duburban and Buex. Also hoping to get some releases out on the Bustle Beats sub-label soon. Mecca's track 'Necessary Evil' has been in the plans for quite a few years and now that he found the lost files, there's a chance it will finally come out. Also another Buex joint played - loving positive vibes of 'Reflections', watch out for that one.
As usual there's some original blueprint tunes from the 90's from DJ Die & Suv, Klute, M-Beat (remixing Sinead O'Connor) and Grooverider's amazing 'Charade' (made in the 90's but only finally surfaced on a release in 2018). Also played early 2000's releases by Total Science and Instra:Mental & skipped back through the last decade for some other personal highlights - beats from Digital & Response (Seba remix), Blocks & Escher, Rough Territory, Rumble and Ink (Resound remix)
