Felix und Basti, besser bekannt als @submod__ , sind zwei DJs und Produzenten aus Leipzig. Wer schon Zeit in der Leipziger Clubszene verbracht hat, ist ihnen höchstwahrscheinlich bereits hinter den Decks in einigen der ikonischsten Locations der Stadt begegnet – darunter die Distillery, das Institut für Zukunft, das DUQO und das Elipamanoke. Ihr Einfluss reicht jedoch weit über ihre Heimatstadt hinaus: Sie bespielen Clubs wie den Südpol (Hamburg) oder Friedas Büxe (Zürich) und sind auf international renommierten Events wie dem Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) vertreten. Wenn die beiden mal nicht selbst auflegen, unterstützen sie lokale Größen und Newcomer der Szene mit ihren zahlreichen Hinterhof-Partys in ihrem heimeligen Club, der Kulturlounge, den sie gemeinsam mit Freunden leiten. Mit Releases auf angesehenen Labels wie Daydream, Ethernal und weiteren machen sie sich stetig einen Namen in der internationalen House- und Minimal-Szene. Über ihr eigenes Label „vaertism“ haben sie bereits drei Sampler auf Bandcamp veröffentlicht und bieten damit eine Plattform für andere Artists und enge Freunde.
