Sunday went down for the history books, with over 1000 well-behaved ravers, world class artists and event organisers/crew pulling together to stand up for something that all means so much to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you 💙
In regards to the mission we are all now on. The Chancellor has agreed to extend the current Business Rates Relief in yesterday’s statement. This will allow operators in the sector a bit of relief and breathing space but we now must all work together in calling for a VAT reduction in the Spring Budget!
As many working in the industry know, this may be too late for a lot of businesses! The few months that follow Christmas are the most challenging, this time coming will likely be the worst in a while. So we urge you all, more than ever and where you can, to keep supporting us local, independent businesses, whether that be venues, pubs, restaurants or promoters.
