VAX-EG6 72_SZ
The Honda Civic (EG6) will always be one of my favourite Japanese cars, ever. I considered it as a timeless, a hot hatch icon of the 90's, the era in which I was born.
Envisioning one is a difficult task, yes, I do realize my 3D skills are still at the early learning stage, but I always welcome any challenge ahead of me. So I spent the last 2 months constructing this one.
What I'm doing is a race version of EG6, quite a mix between a time attack monster and JGTC race car, but I'm not trying to do it too crazy, mainly because I love simple things.
( Kidding, I can't do much more due to hardware limitations, and I'm really afraid my PC will blow up in pieces lol.)
I wonder what the car would look like as my personal track toy by stitching the vector graphics with magenta accents all over.
Hopefully, you guys like the way it turned out. Thank you for viewing!

VF3 Entry [Post no 1/3]
THE ROOKBREAKER (CR-360)
Vinfast VF3 Competition : Unbound Imagination [1st Place Winner]
I'm pleased to announce to you all the "ROOKBREAKER". It's a fully CGI, 3D rendered modification of Vinfast VF3 with Subjekt Zero GFX Studio cosmetic approach. I picked the name based on my own IP "Rook" with "Breaker", a pun on "Rock Breaker", easily sweep the dirt and rocks, breaking them to dust. It's a classic off-road makeover that is heavily inspired by the rally cars, RC toys and cyberpunk theme.
I did the 3D base model of a VF3 as a starting point from scratch, looking at the pictures online to match as closely as its original look, and then personalize it with my own design & styling. It was quite an ambitious and challenging experiment, cause I wanted to do something different that I had never done previously, especially for a contest.
The entry is a reminder for myself as a car enthusiast, looking at how good the VF3 is as a small EV-SUV, very compact in design, which I genuinely like. It feels like a SUV from the 80s-90s with a boxed appearance, but smooth at the same time. I saw it several times IRL (I believe it was the Indonesia International Motor Show, a few months ago), and my head just cannot stop thinking of how to make it more badass, and then an opportunity called. When I got a tip from a friend that there's an official contest for this car, I just straight up went for it.
I hope you guys like my fully rendered images, and more story content will be posted!

SS-07 STORMSEEKER
It was my attempt a year ago to build a car that is a mixture of Mini 4WD, Gundam and Hot Wheels design. The project was just a fun experiment for me with the Boxcutter and Hops modifier, which involved dissecting or cutting the elements all over the place. It was a very straightforward "stacking together" of components to the car.
The body design language and colors are heavily inspired by the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Banshee), one of my favourite Gundam designs in the last decade. The orange, dark grey and black (I know it should've dark navy but damn those black color fits really well) and with a small emission underneath the chassis to give it's terrifying aura. The orange tires, on the other hand, are a nod to some Hot Wheels Acceleracers, balancing the black dominant colored car with more colorful-looking tires, boosting its appearance.
And those pop-up style headlights? I just can't resist the 80's, so I put them on.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes pics!

The Riptide
----
"What is it like to build your dream supercar from scratch?"
It is not a simple question, and it is definitely hard to answer. Perhaps the only thing that I could do to answer is to work on it, slowly and painfully. Like any day, this one is a full challenge.
Riptide is based on aquatic animals, mostly inspired by a shark, and quite a bit like a stingray. From the early stages, I studied (as much as possible) the design language of many timeless supercar designs. Understanding the parts, utility, function, and aerodynamics. It was a moment that I felt I bit more than I could chew, cause I'm a graphic designer, not a car designer in the first place. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the progression of this one
If it's a real thing, I'd put a V12 in there. Smooth in appearance but loud in screams.
----
I decided to make it full-black, no decals, no anything, just my pure vision of what it is like to build my dream supercar. While I may come back later with more shots. For now, enjoy the pics! š«”

We couldnāt decide which color-way was our favorite, so we decided to make this piece available in both UV Red and Blue.
Choose wisely, =)

sometimes I don't take myself very seriously,
sometimes I do...something random
Here's a parking pad,
I designed for my 1:64 mini-scale car collection
It is not necessarily following any landmark or regional signature road signs, but more of a playground, freestyling segments to it.
Probably fits the theme with the fantasy car designs, but got to look around and find out.
I'm printing it now,
fit and proper testing!
