I am incredibly proud of how far the San Diego Coffee Community has grown from when I was living there in 2015.

First trip to Brazil, and Curitiba was by far one of the best cities I have been to in the world.
The gastronomy is phenomenal from home cooked meals to restaurants to cafés.
I want to thank @carolfrancodesouza@samanthabrettas@eu_isabelagarcia for being with me the whole week. They hosted me and showed me around the city, introduced me to the community, and always fed me. It was one of those trips that reinvigorates the soul.
@bsca_specialtycoffee@luccacafesespeciais , I cannot thank you enough for what you are doing with the coffee community not just in Curitiba but in Brazil.
Brazilians are one of the most welcoming people and I will be back soon. Muito obrigado for everyone who took the time to meet with me and your patience with my very little Portuguese. I promise to get better for next time. This is only the beginning.

It’s always about the people.
It’s about making the coffee industry sustainable for the next generation. I am lucky to have each person in these photos as mentors, friends, and teachers. I can only hope to contribute to keeping this industry thriving and sustainable as much as they have.
