Duckbill or wing?
The VB WRX rear end always sparks a debate, and for good reason. Both options bring a completely different look and purpose to the car.
The duckbill keeps things clean and subtle, adding just enough aggression while flowing naturally with the factory lines. It’s the kind of setup that works just as well on a daily as it does on a weekend drive.
On the other side, a rear wing makes a statement. It brings that track-focused presence and functional aero, giving the car a much more aggressive, track-oriented look.

Subaru really went and built the BRZ everyone’s been asking for… just not for us.
The Boxer Rally spec.Z pushes the platform way beyond its usual formula with a turbocharged 2.4L FA24, making around 276 hp and 369 lb-ft, paired to a sequential gearbox and full AWD system.
But this isn’t a preview of what’s coming next. It’s a purpose-built rally car developed under Subaru Team Arai for the 2026 All Japan Rally Championship, meaning it’s strictly for competition use only.
So yeah… the AWD turbo BRZ exists. Just not in a way any of us can actually get. But be honest… are you taking this over a WRX?

In 2025 and 2026, Subaru released two limited BRZ special editions, one taking a subtle approach and the other with a brighter personality.
The 2025 Series.Purple was limited to 500 units and features Galaxy Purple Pearl, a deep color that shifts subtly depending on the light, paired with satin silver wheels. It keeps a more understated look while adding driver-focused touches like an STI short shifter and flexible V-bar.
The 2026 Series.Yellow is limited to just 350 units and features Sunrise Yellow, a bright, motorsport-inspired color with 18-inch matte black wheels and bold yellow accents. It leans further into performance with a track-tuned suspension and Brembo brakes.
