SUB_tl 094 "Tonal 012" Various Artists is now on sale!!. It's been a while since our last Tonal series release, and here we go again. For this 12 installment we have some usual members of the family onboard as well as good old friends from the past like neapolitan Random Noize as Dez. On the family side, Bebhionn with his new project Organism, Infinite Size, Lefrenk, Deepnaut and Korben Nice keep our sound alive. Release starts with Organism and his track "Unforeseen", a mental techno exercise, ideal to keep the pace on a busy dancefloor. Korben Nice speeds up the tempo, enforces the kick and adds a nice scifi bleep action to the vibe with The Ropes. Following the italian producer Dez (Random_Noize) brings the funk on "Do ut Des", intense, floaty and super dynamic. Watch out for the broken beat in the middle… Deepnaut gives his hardest side here with "Demente", swinging the drums, adding the necessary dose of overdrive but preserving his traditional Detroit vibe. Our agent in Galicia, Lefrenk shows again his own personal approach on techno, providing a superb take on danceable electronics with his track "After the Trip". Last but not least, Infinite Size goes galactic with "Fuera del Baremo", tension and hypnosis altogether. We are super happy to have such a nice bunch of talented artists in our spaceship. SUB_tl 093 "techno_Backup" by @lagware_artist it's now on sale!!. Our very own scientist creator Lagware returns home after a long hiatus with no less than five cuts with his super original signature sound. Capture [1] Opens the release in a proper glitch mode, with subtle clicks and synthetic drums. Ice cold feelings on this one. Echoes of a robotic unreal march come to mind when listening and why not dance to it. Things get busier as minutes go by ending in a complete digital madness. Capture [2] follows, a minimal and profound groove, embedded in a cavernous reverberation and spice with a distant bleep and sharpened hi hats. The sound of a techno club inside an iceberg. On Capture [3] Lagware shows his futuristic dancefloor skills on a proper dj tool where white noise is the fundamental element joined by crunchy textures and clear percussive components all arranged wisely in a constantly evolving structure. Number four is Brain Scan, another minimalistic exercise of alien dance, using a continuous sequence and an assortment of micro noises and digital textures to complete the sonic menu. Again a dj tool only for the brave. Last track is W_0010, a deep and profound club track with everything you need to set the pace for a non existent sound voyage. Our release number 092 is the culmination of a nice phenomenon. @reprogrammedtechno You are reached by someone who wants to learn how to make techno, you spend a weekend teaching him and the next week you receive a demo and that demo becomes this EP you are listening to. A close circle that shows that talent is still out there and another motivation to keep up with this label. Musicwise, Reprogrammed offers four cuts on this Mental Amoebas EP ( sublime title btw ) no fillers here, only killers. Starting from the rugged and punchy "Parasitic Behaviour", intense and mental but at the same time physical and groovy. Second cut, "Seismo" uses FM sequences as the main motif, spiced with micro atmospheres and more synth layers all over a precise rhythm workout. On the virtual B side, "Trumpets" is hypnotic and spacey, using asymmetrical synth lines interleaved with noise washes and a clever percussive programming to keep the pace on the dance floor. Last but not least, "Psycho Voltage" closes the EP diving into scifi realms with a more spacey approach into sound. Deepnaut's album "The Semaphor" SUB_tl 091 is now on sale!!. @deepnautoficial is back at home with our second full album since Korben Nice’s one. For this sound voyage, Daniel Heredero takes a virtual airplane to the motor city conjuring all the elements required for a hi tech jazz opera. "The Semaphor Intro" puts the listener in context showing the musical intention to be perceived along this EP, a floaty atmosphere translating perfectly the sense of ingravity. "Lunar Gateway" is the sequel of this intro, synthetic strings, dreamy chords, 909 rhythms, obsessive sequences… pure techno soul. In "Vertical City" the groove is the main course soon joined by synthesizer lines and solid bass frequencies until the soulful chord action takes control of the whole situation. Deepnauting expertise here. "The Semaphor Interlude" is the beatless version of the main track, cosmic and ethereal transition to "The Erebus and The Terror", speeding the tempo, adding tension and danceability via bleeps but keeping the flotation with liquid pads spreaded all over the place. "Massai Mara" uses a weird tribal recording as the background for a complex techno jazz exercise, pure dancefloor mayhem. "The Semaphor" comes next, a faithful homage to the sound of the Detroit pioneers with a memorable string riff along organic percussions and traditional drum machine rhythms. Mechanical and emotional at the same time. SUB_tl 090 by @a373_septimacorte is now on sale!!. We are super happy to have a new talent onboard A373 is a mysterious Colombian producer who dives deep into the organic realms of techno, combining mentalism and physicalism into a danceable entity. For his debut in our label, he provides no less than six cuts of straight to the point futurism, starting with the selvatic "Jiiri Kurii", a mixture of jungle ambiances and broken rhythms perfect to start the sonic travel that comes ahead. "Kodama" puts things directly on the dancefloor, with a heavy Birmingham classy touch, obsessive and mind drilling. Third cut "Konjac (9 8 r p m Remix)" remixed by fellow Colombian producer, 98 r p m, preserves the tension of the previous one, adding more asymmetrical synth lines and a shuffled groove. Number four is the original version of "Konjac", a heavier approach than the remake, designed for peak time action. "Rite" comes next, keeping the gymnastic vibe, another anabolic drill for the twisted minds out there. Closing the release, "Ruasara", fast and tribal, like a soundtrack of an hysterical run into the jungle’s depths. SUB_tl 089 by Brain Ballet (Groof & Deepnaut) is OUT NOW!!. Sometimes we have dreamed of having a legendary project in our label, and as you may probably know, dreams can become reality if you dream harder. Being part of the genesis of the Spanish techno scene since the beginning we have grown with several colleagues in this extensive trip. We admire profoundly all of those who started this sonic journey, but specially we love the solid careers of Groof and Daniel Erbe / Deepnaut. When techno was just an utopia Groof, Daniel and Hd Substance formed the seminal project Ballet Mecánico; now part of that spirit is reborn in the form of Brain Ballet, the new project from Groof and Deepnaut. For this amazing sonic adventure they have shared studio time to give birth to six cuts of modern and futuristic techno, for sure it has roots but it's nothing but innovation and looking forward. "Falling Objects" start the release straight to the point with a solid rhythm basements, snappy stabs and floating atmospheres all melted in a constantly moving structure. "Aerobik" introduces roughness and distortion, gymnastic sequences and a peak time approach setting the pace for "Hold!" that sounds like a timeless combination of the best Birmingham tradition and the Detroit soul. "Maderfaker" wastes no time with obsessive vocal snippets, continuous sequences and straight to the bone percussive elements. "Desde Abajo" is an incursion into dubby and liquid territories, precise chord action for the deepest moments in the club. Paradoxically, the track called "Intro" close this masterpiece in style, using beatless drones and atmospheres to relax mind and body after this phrenetic odyssey. Here comes our first full length album from a single artist and @korbennice_official is in charge of this duties. He provides us with nine brilliant exercises of diverse and personal electronic dance music. Starting with the beatless ambiances of "The Dawn", introducing the beat on "Time Never Stops" where scifi vibes are the main course, keeping the dancefloor busy in "Rain and Wind", returning to hyperspace in "Constant Fear", going rude with "Shapes in Motion", twisting minds with the hypnotic "No Rest, No Sleep, No Rest". Combining dreamy soundscapes with pulsating beats on "Monster Poison", then going bleepy with "Never Say Never" and ending the sound voyage with the abstract feelings of "Dark Nights, Empty Nights, Lifeless Nights".
