Huge line-up tonight on Subcode with some of the brightest talent and finest music out there.
The action gets underway at 6pm with the wonderful Spaceflower and her special guest Holocene. We then have the fabulous Daria Fomina with the next instalment of her Purple Sky series. Next up it’s Subcode head-honcho Marc Brommel with an extra-special all vinyl set.
My show kicks off at 10pm with man-of-the-moment Lloyd Barwood, who shares a one-hour peak-time selection from his headline set at WeAreConnected in Bham last weekend. I then wrap things up with one hour from my set from the Hare&Hounds.

The next instalment of my WeAreConnected show airs this coming Friday on Subcode Radio from 10pm (UK). This month, my very special guest is Lloyd Barwood fresh from his amazing headline set from last Saturday’s WeAreConnected event here in Birmingham. What a night!!! It’s fair to say that Lloyd absolutely rocked the party.
My original plan was to play out Lloyd’s full 2hr mix in my show but we unfortunately had a small technical fault which meant the audio quality from the live recording on the night wasn’t up to scratch ….. and so, instead, both Lloyd and I have re-recorded a one hour section of each of our sets from last Saturday for this Friday’s broadcast. We both feel like we’ve managed to re-capture the vibe of the night so we hope you enjoy.

The next instalment of my WeAreConnected show airs this coming Friday on Subcode Radio from 10pm (UK).
I have no guest mix this month, and so with the freedom of a two hour show to compile I found myself reaching back in my collection as I was mulling over my track list. Quite a bit of the new music I’ve been listening to lately has reminded me of that period from 2007 to 2011 where Prog and Electro came together to create, for me at least, some truly memorable records, and so it was this period and vibe where I found myself digging …..
And that’s the mix that came together …. something a bit different from my usual WeAreConnected mixes ….. a look back to some of my favourite pre-2013 Prog Electro tracks featuring artists or remixers such as John C, Dave Cortex, Brisker & Magitman and Mohawk to name a few. I enjoyed putting this set together, and it would be fab if you could stop by and join me this coming Friday.
