When I think preppy, I think clean, intentional, and balanced. Nothing overdone. The key is layering and texture such as a denim shirt under a brushed wool sweater to add depth without clutter. The embroidered Michigan State detail gives the sweater that worn-in, vintage feel that makes the look feel effortless instead of stiff.
I kept the base classic with grey tailored trousers with chocolate loafers for a polished finish. Simple pieces, styled the right way, always win.
