@lilymandelbaum was a freshman in college and we picked up a home video camera to film our first StyleLikeU video for our personal “blog,” I could not have imagined that my mom and I would spend the next 15 years building this platform together. As it turns out, she became my co-founder, my creative partner, and the person I have grown up alongside in ways I never expected. Together we have learned how to heal and free ourselves through the most incredible humans we’ve had the privilege of meeting and interviewing. The ride has been inexplicably magical, messy, and at times complicated, but through it all it’s never lost on me the gift of getting to do meaningful work alongside the person who brought you into the world.
