She always dreamt of being a white bride…
But with traditions in mind, we made it her engagement moment instead — a serene all-white lehenga with a head dupatta to bring in the drama she deserved. We added soft emerald tones — not too stark, just enough to break the monotone and bring a fresh twist to her modern bridal vibe.
For him, a muted grey palette — minimal yet so striking — perfectly complementing her calm elegance while holding his own in style.
For every bride who wants modern but meaningful — this one’s for you.

On our very first call, Ishita told me she wanted to feel like her best self — stylish, confident, and not overwhelmed by heavy fabrics. Something every mom-to-be can relate to.
So we styled her in a custom Abhishek Sharma deep-blue ensemble, crafted with soft, supportive yarns that held her body beautifully without adding weight.
It gave her the comfort she needed and the shape she wanted — the perfect balance for a baby shower.
Simple, elegant, easy to move in… and everything she hoped she’d feel on her special day.
Because you don’t have to give up your style just because your body is changing —
you just need the right outfit that works with you.

Ruchika & Tushar’s wedding, the inspiration was rooted in a sense of quiet dreaminess-soft yet intentional, elevated without excess. When we came across this (@anamikakhannaindia ) ensemble for Ruchika, there was an immediate certainty; it felt instinctive, as though the look had already found its moment.
For Tushar, we turned to Tarun Tahiliani (@taruntahiliani ) selecting a silhouette that complemented Ruchika’s look while allowing him to stand confidently on his own. Together, the outfits were designed to speak to each other without mirroring
-distinct in identity, yet harmonious in presence.
A balance where both stood apart, and yet, perfectly together.

For Ruchika’s haldi, set against the backdrop of their destination wedding in Thailand, we reimagined the traditional palette through a softer, more modern lens. Instead of the usual tones, we worked with a butter yellow hue, keeping the mood light and elevated.
Ruchika was styled in a (@mishruofficial ), featuring a sheer skirt paired with a corset, bringing in structure while maintaining fluidity. To stay rooted in the essence of a phoolon ki haldi, we introduced subtle floral elements, allowing the look to feel festive yet refined.
The idea was to strike a balance - honouring tradition while giving it a contemporary edge.

Hi girls! My name is Shifa Firoz— and if you’re new here, a little about me.
I’m a bridal stylist, working closely with brides to shape their wedding wardrobes with intention, detail, and a sense of individuality. This space has always been about that process — understanding what works, what lasts, and what truly feels like you.
And now, for the first time, I’m exploring that journey for myself as a bride to be.
This series is my take on shaadi dressing — across designers, silhouettes, and evolving moods. A personal perspective, shaped by years of styling, now translated into my own wardrobe. Can’t wait to show my final look soon. Stay tuned.

My journey as a stylist…
10 years ago, I was just someone with a dream I couldn’t fully explain—no clear path, no guarantees, just a quiet but strong feeling that I wanted to create something of my own.
I still remember interning under a stylist at London Fashion Week, quietly observing, learning, and trying to find my place in a world that felt so big… never imagining that I would one day return to that same platform to launch my own collection. That moment felt unreal.
The journey in between wasn’t easy. There were years of doubt, of figuring things out as I went, of building my own store and slowly shaping my identity as a designer and creative.
5 years ago, I stepped into Bollywood working on Salman Khan films and with YRF. It was fast, intense, and full of learning at every step. But somewhere along the way, I realised I wanted something more personal… something closer to people, emotions, and real stories.
That’s when I took a leap into wedding styling—a space that was still so new back then. I didn’t have clarity, just instinct… but I chose to trust it.
And today, seeing how far it has come it’s something I’m truly proud of.
Being trusted by so many brides to be a part of their most special day is something I’ll never take lightly. Their faith, their emotions, their stories they’ve given my work a deeper meaning.
This journey has been messy, uncertain, and beautiful all at once… but it’s been mine.
From a dream I once questioned… to styling love stories every day. ✨
