Monday Blues for who?
Take the white jacket from the suit you wore last week and turn it into a warm colour, “but how does one do that?” - asked Daisy.
That’s rather easy, look for a black shirt and grey pants then work your way down to the shoes with black loafers & black socks, next thing you know it, uyi taste ye chakalalaka when you look in the mirror.

It’s summer and you’re strolling around the city wondering where can you find an outfit that makes you feel like you’re in Panama, walking along the beach, people watching and slightly giggling to yourself as you come across something funny, a little crazy perhaps.
Now imagine this, you walk past me standing at the ice cream stand, in orange and navy, a bold colour combination but works well for the setting.
“Hey, where can I get that? This matches the feeling I want to feel. I want to feel like I’m the main character in a movie.”
My response: “Let’s take a walk to my style haven and turn you into the star you’ve always imagined yourself to be.”

I haven’t posted in so long, how does one write a caption? Any tips?
Here’s a tip, purchase a white suit from your favourite brand, might be mine and pair it with a sky blue shirt (“Excuse me sir, it’s turquoise”) and finish it off with some loafers, make sure their black but if you’re feeling playful you can wear cream white one’s, that’s definitely something that will have people turn their heads in your direction.

I spend a long time without wearing certain shoes, well the pair of Suede Cap-toes I wore yesterday have been watching me wear other shoes for two years or less, hopefully less so they don’t feel bad for waiting for me.
I avoid wearing a tie at all costs but that caught up with me yesterday and I had to pull it out but I wasn’t planning to leave the Ivy League Inspired Look behind or becoming another version of Bruce Boyer so I added the Dad Cap.
The sports jacket and grey slacks were perfect as they complimented the tie and suede cap-toes, so until next time right?

I know white to be a ‘pure’ colour that represents cleanliness & purity. The best option for a red carpet occasion as you turn heads with style & grace, but most importantly, you do it subtly.
I had the opportunity to style @warrenmasemola for the 96th Oscar’s Academy Awards screening by @donjuliosa and the first thought that came to mind was ‘no tuxedo, be different, explore different ways of getting the best outcome’.
I opted to put him in one of the latest looks from @boyde__official latest AFROMODERNISM 24’ Collection (Slide 3). The collection in itself is simple, subtle but most importantly it’s different & not restricted by menswear laws.
I wanted @warrenmasemola to be free & feel at home in his look, hence a looser fit to help him forget that his ‘DRESSED’ and give him the freedom that he constantly has whenever he wears casual clothing.
