A little trick I use a lot: put a character with a red rim light on top of a background that has a red 'light source’ - it makes the whole mix feel way more believable. Add some light flashes using the Levels effect and random playback on the beat, and you’ve got a simple, audio-reactive mix. LMK if you have any questions or feedback.
