RIP to our beautiful, wacky show. The question everyone asks is why did we end it? People want tea. There is no tea.
We started this show when we were barely a year into stand up. I was a different person then. I wanted to do a show with my friends. I wanted a safe space to perform. I wanted to be free, stupid, and have fun. We did exactly that. This show gave us permission to be our dumbest versions of ourselves.
But after three years, the show became stagnant. We struggled to reach new audiences and fill the room, and none of us felt the same drive we once did. We’ve changed. Our goals have changed. And so it’s time for something new and fresh.
I’m so grateful for everyone who came, supported, performed, and believed in this weird little show that we built.
