This is one of my favourite prints I’ve ever made… and it’s called “Everything, Everything!” Here’s why: Mid 2024, I was working on 12 individual Risograph inspired prints for each zodiac, but I felt like separating them into zodiacs were niching me a bit too much. I wanted to make something that anyone could buy, regardless of their #burfday. SO! I put ALL the funky lil drawings I had made over the days weeks and months into one big explosion of day-to-day life inspired art. 🪑🍄🫜🍓🐆🧵⏰⚾️🦆 “Everything, Everything!” Is an ode to the little (and big) things that make us - us. The things that make life special, and the things we often (accidentally) take for granted: a basket of fresh strawberries, a chunky wool sweater in winter or a beautiful old bridge. Printed on either A2 or A1, “Everything, Everything!” is as unique, wild, beautiful and colourful as you. Available on my website. Link in bio. ✨💌

I had 30 minutes before a meeting this mornin’, so I designed a lil’ abstract book cover. A modern take on a classic (and one of my all time favourite movies - the animated one of course). “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat. “I don’t much care where—” said Alice. “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat. ✨🎂🍰🫖☕️🐇🃏🌳🎩🚪💌

Book cover re-design: ‘All Fours’ by Miranda July. I haven’t quite finished reading this one yet…. But I really love it. It makes me feel inspired - and weird. I wanted to design something that felt as wild and bold as the words inside - and also use something featured inside the book (her “museum-quality” vintage quilt). It was recommended to me by my best friend, Kate, who had it recommended to HER by OUR imaginary best friend, Dolly Alderton. ✨ Some quotes I especially love: “Nobody knows what’s going on. We are thrown across our lives by winds that started blowing millions of years ago.” “I spent the rest of the afternoon planning the rest of my life.” (Same) (about 4 times a week). Happy reading! 🌻🌻🌻 #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #bookcoverdesign #bookcoverillustration #bookcover

AH!!! Why I am so late to post this amazing project is a mystery…. 😳 Last year, I was fortunate enough to team up with the amazing Gen Muir, and help her bring her ‘High, Low, Buffalo’ connection card set to life. Gen approached me with her wonderful idea to bring big kids (adults) and their little-r kids together (without creating something that ultimately added yet ANOTHER thing for busy parents to do). She asked for branding and a product that felt fun yet modern, approachable and unique. I think I went a little overboard with the funky design aspect of it, but Gen graciously went with it! 😅 I hand cut all the letters to make a new custom font (appropriately called BARNYARD) and cut all the mix and matchy shapes. The cards themselves come housed in a beautiful, premium cardboard-box with a super easy to access magnet closure. Gen did such a great job producing these because they are even more beautiful in person. I felt so proud seeing them for the first time! 🤍 Available to buy online at .au OR simply head over to the HLB cards Instagram (where the shop is linked - and you can read all about the cards themselves - Wooo!)
