An absolute privilege of working in this industry is being involved in the Edinburgh Fringe. For all of its faults (of which there are many), it's still my happy place.
I've been lucky enough to work on some cracking shows this year and can't wait to share them with you!
August by
@thanyiamoore
An incredible show about the events of August 2022. Raw and honest but never forgetting to be funny. We've worked on this show for a number of years and it has been an honour to be on this journey with Thanyia.

One of your jobs as a director is to help a performer find structure to their work without hindering their natural instincts. Toussaint has always been a great writer and this show really does show off his unique performing skills. And it's proper funny too!
Lunartic by
@lpeaman
Lucy has been one of my favourite performers for many years and it has been a complete joy to team up with
@jonathanoldfield_ in bringing this beautiful show to the stage. Wonderful clowning with a heart, there is no better way to start your day (I know it's at 1pm but in Edinburgh that's like 4 am)
Corpse (WIP) by
@kurdymann
Remember the days where you could go to Edinburgh and develop a show over the course of the month? Getting better and experimenting with something new each day? That's exactly what Kirsty Mann is doing with this horror based show. For a WIP it's already in a great place and I can't wait to see where it ends up!
And finally I have had the good fortune of running our
@sohotheatre Edinburgh Lab over the last couple of months for performers heading up to the fringe for the first time. It is always inspiring to be around performers taking their first steps on this ride and seeing them form a bond as they go through such an intense shared experience. All their shows soind really exciting so please do go check them out!
