Shatterproof Glass is an exhibition about mental health lows, intrusive thoughts, self doubt, shame, being neurodivergent, feeling things deeply, and not always being able to bounce right back. But it is also about the moments of peace and clarity within the storms, and the easing of pain with the passage of time. Turning this into art, was a way of surviving it, making sense of it all, and by doing that I found it connected me to so many people with similarly big feelings and their own unique experiences of grief, loss and love. To the friends that encouraged and supported me, to the strangers that I had such heartfelt conversations with - thank you thank you infinitely. Here’s to sharing more vulnerably, creating more art, and continuing to love openly even when it’s scary ❤️ The zine of the show and a few prints are still available on my website. I’ve tagged the photographs from the private view which are by the wildly talented @lucethebrocq & the rest are a mix of iphone and digital camera shots. Hugest thank you to @brightonartspace for having me and being a dream to work with 🤍

winter dump ~ I felt like I almost survived the winter without any sad but this last week or so it caught up with me. i have enjoyed the slowing down this season has brought with it though, and here’s a collection of moments i have enjoyed/been feeling myself. & last week at the park with @reniadeb we spotted the first sign of spring flowers & i remembered spring is coming. with politics and the world feeling so bleak, i’m also feeling particularly grateful for the safety and calm where i can. we need rest and joy if we are to have the energy to resist. and however your winters been, a very important reminder: the days are getting longer ~ 🌞 we’ve almost made it 🌞 highlights include: mid-winter trip to Malta to see my favourite fish (@eefofthereef ), cozy movie nights, trying new hobbies, @queerphoto_collective being back after a lil hiatus & a new pb squatting my body weight at the gym. anyway long caption over, tldr: feeling very year of the horse🐴

just a few of the many faces i’ve been so so privileged to photograph this year. it is a gift to get to connect with someone with my camera in hand. the trust, the way you open up to one another, the creativity and joy that you get to share. how you are both able to be so present and absorbed in that moment. i have said this so many times and i will say it so many more, but i am so grateful to have photography as a way to document, connect, create. if i have created with you just know it meant a lot to me and i can’t wait to meet all the people i am yet to photograph :) #photography #2025

some more meaningful images I wanted to share from my day w/ @studiozo__ @groovyhousestudio in Brighton before the year was up 🌹 this year has been intense to say the least, but these photographs that Zo shot of me halfway through are so intimate, so powerful - they so beautifully capture what I consider to be my inner expansive and fluid self - that it all feels worth it if, with every difficult year, I become more and more myself.

I’ve poured so much of myself into this project, and tonight I get to share it with you all. I’m so proud of what I’ve created. I’m so nervous for you to see it. So much pain, so much shame, all held onto so tightly and now I get to let it go out into the world. Shatterproof Glass (my debut exhibition!) will be on all weekend. Over 60 self-portraits, all taken on film, and over 30 pieces of writing sharing all my inner most, scariest thoughts. I also have a zine with the exhibition work (which comes to over 100 pages) available on my website if you can’t make it down. For anyone who’s reached out, for all the kind words of encouragement, from the bottom of my heart thank you 🤍
