Are you passionate about hospitality, providing a warm guest experience, building local & international community and being part of a team with big ambitions?
We are looking for a full-time Lead Front of House to work alongside the owners of studio x kitchen and the greater team.
Key skills:
* previous employment experience in the hospitality industry, preferably cafe related, of between 3 to 5 years or longer
* strong natural leadership skills
* comfortable following and reinforcing the established guidelines and structures for the FOH team
* warm personality, natural interaction with guests
* clear communication skills
* barista experience and knowledge of coffee and espresso machines
* comfortable keeping track of stock, placing orders and liaising with our suppliers
* calm and patient, open and generous
* excellent with details and able to keep things running smoothly
* experience running events
* excited to be part of growing studio x kitchen
* interested in design and design related collaborations (this is a bonus!)
On offer is a full time contract, competitive salary, an excellent work environment enjoyed with an amazing and generous team.
Training for this position can begin as soon as possible and will run between May and June. The position will then begin in its full-time capacity from July 1st.

“Blossoms”
Featuring the work of visual artist Jacob Grönbech Jensen

There is magic in blossoms. Magnificence, and scent, color and movement. Blossoms are poetic, memorable, beauty tucked away.
Each spring we take a moment to honor blossoms. This year we have invited visual artist Jacob Grönbech Jensen to adorn one of our windows with his unique, slow motion shimmering blossoms and his playful carved wooden shoes.
Jacob’s large original ink drawings and carved wooden shoes will be on display and available for purchase from Friday, May 8th, along with signed small art prints and a limited edition, blossom inspired granola bag.

Jacob Grönbech Jensen @jacobgronbech (b. 1984) is a visual artist and graphic designer based in Copenhagen. He works in the intersection of art and design influenced by the worlds of music, books and various printing techniques. His ink drawings of broken or repetitive lines are meditations and breaks from his daily practise and routines.

Hosted at @studioxkitchen , the exhibition will showcase two new KINTO collections in use – MUI tableware and FUTO textiles – a reflection of thoughtful making, where material and form are carefully considered. The exhibition will centre around the theme of てま (Tema) – inviting visitors to experience the beauty of slow-work in everyday life.
