The kitchen is the heart of the home so often we start our design journey with the kitchen. This particular kitchen has some interesting details like the wood and green coloured wood, the countertop running through under the appliances and the inset handles.

From finish to start, swipe to see how this beautiful en-suite bathroom evolved over the last couple of months. Because this apartment is limited in space we decided to design an en-suite bathroom with large luxurious marble-covered shower. The was basin is tucked away next to the wardrobe and we used the power of reflection to enlarge the space by placing a wall covering mirror.

For this dining room, we chose a deeper tone of blue to bring a sense of intimacy to an otherwise large space. By painting everything in one single colour, the room becomes calmer, more cohesive and more immersive. This is the power of colour drenching: less contrast, more atmosphere.

Don't forget the ceiling! Painting the fifth wall can add drama and flair, especially with textured wallpaper and woodwork in the same hues. We balanced it with soft powder blue walls for a serene atmosphere.

Family home project, we created a space, which would normally have been used as transitional space between the living room and kitchen into a functional ‘walk-trough-cabinet’. Used for storage and diisplay/seating, it’s now a fully functional space.
