Artist BI Logo & Symbol Design for @daily_direction_official
The visual identity of DAILY:DIRECTION stands on its own. It carries a playful energy, grounded in an almost analog texture, while the vision they pursue feels distinctly independent and set apart from others.
Like the word “Daily,” the forward-moving DD star figure symbol embodies a sense of progression. It seamlessly merges with the rough, expressive main typeface, forming a unified graphic language.
The logotype is finished with a single sharp stroke, emphasizing direction and pointing toward where the group is headed.

‘Where emotion meets motion’
Each ‘a’ carries a distinct identity; the linear, directional ‘a’ in at suggests movement and intention, while the curved, organic ‘a’ in heart reflects warmth and emotional flow. Together they visualize the dual nature of Gen Z: rational yet deeply feeling. The subtle italic tilt adds speed, rhythm, and youthful energy, while the connected stems of r and t build visual continuity.
For the main symbol, we explored ways to combine @ (at) and heart in a more engaging and cohesive manner. Option A brings together the @ symbol and the wordmark’s h to form a single heart shape, resulting in a solid and visually striking impression.

The inclusion of an analog key introduces a subtle tension. This juxtaposition captures the duality within his sound, where rawness and sincerity coexist within a refined structure, ultimately embodying the emotional gap between the digital and the tactile, the polished and the unfiltered.

The keyring version of the album was conceived from the idea of a remote car key, directly reflecting the recurring motif of driving in his music.
As his first full length album, the design focuses on translating that narrative into a tangible object, something real, understated, and honest. The remote car key keyring is crafted with a sense of realism and restraint, while the packaging is designed to seamlessly extend this object, reinforcing a cohesive and grounded visual language.

The main symbols of Archive.1 are conceived as a structural device that marks the beginning of an archive. The ‘W’ of WOODZ and the numeral ‘1’ function as a Drop Cap, signaling the opening of a narrative. Rather than a fixed logo, the form reflects a state in progress where emotions and sounds remain raw and unrefined.
An attempt to include even the pre polished, transitional states as part of the archive itself.

Flesh Film House® is a visual practice dedicated to exploring the nature of media itself. Expanding from moving image into print, FFH navigates across mediums to illuminate a spectrum of narratives—ranging from the subtleties of everyday life to moments of the extraordinary.
The dual-star motif embodies the collision between medium and medium, context and context, symbolizing a constant state of tension, interaction, and transformation. Through this visual language, FFH asserts a bold and fearless approach—one that embraces experimentation, challenges conventions, and materializes ideas with both conceptual rigor and striking execution.

영화는 다양한 예술 분야 중에서도 순수예술로 일컬어지는 영역에 초점을 맞춰 미디어, 퍼포먼스, 전쟁, 퀴어를 주소재로 다루는 동시대 다원 예술을 조망하면서도 동시대 작가들이 공통적으로 경험하고 있는 “잔인한 낙관”의 상태를 적극적으로 드러낸다. 이는 다른 분야에 비해 특히 예술 분야에서 도드라지는 풍경으로 본인의 작업을 꾸준히 이어 나감에 있어 사회 적 인정(기성 미술계의 승인)이 담보되어야 하는 현실에 기인하고 있다. 사회적 인정이 담보 되지 않을 경우 생계의 문제에 직면하게 될 가능성이 높아지기 때문이다.
영화는 메인 스트림 데뷔를 앞두고 있는 한 미술 작가의 개인전 준비 과정을 조망한다. 한 인물에 초점을 맞춰 서사가 진행되지 아니하기에 ‘조망’이라는 표현이 등장한다. 자본가를 대변하는 작가의 개인전이 열리는 ‘갤러리 관장’, 작가의 친구이자 미술 기획자인 소영, 미술 계에 속해있는 작가이지만 아직 데뷔하지 못한 작가의 또 다른 친구, 소영의 제자인 미술대학 학부생 등 미술계 내에 각자의 다른 위치를 차지하고 있는 인물들이 등장한다.

“욕망하는 어떤 대상이 오히려 더 나은 삶에 걸림돌이 될 때 바로 거기에 잔인한 낙관의 관계가 있다”는 로런 벌랜트의 말처럼 인간은 더 나은 삶, 지금보다는 더 풍요로운 삶을 꿈 꾸며 살아가고는 한다. 예술가에게 있어 “좋은 삶”은 한층 복잡해진다. 영화는 “환상이란, 사 람들이 어떻게 하면 자신과 세상이 “결국 무언가 의미있는 것이 될” 수 있는지에 대한 이상 적인 이론과 밑그림을 쟁여 두는 수단이다. 그런 환상들이 마모되기 시작하면 어떻게 될까?”라는 로라 벌랜트의 질문을 동시대 예술가에 던진다
