The results are in for this years Thomson Annual Egg Decorating Competition, judged by last years winner Hannah alongside Will. This years winners was a team effort by Linda, Beckie and Sam ‘Pokeggmon’ Judges comments were ‘This was an instant first place for both of us, and I felt that the entry instantly appealed to us as 90s kids. We were also won over by the quantity of eggs, the execution of the hand-detailing and punnage’ #taedc #taedc26
The results are in for this years Thomson Annual Egg Decorating Competition, judged by last years winner Hannah alongside Will. In second place was Alice’s entry ‘Retrospeggtive’ which features memorable winners from the last 10 years of the competition. Judges comments were ‘Will said this was a ‘meta-rendering of an existential mood’. I just liked the teeny tiny frames and bunting. We were split about the non-decoration of the egg. But impressed by the use of past entries’ #taedc #taedc26

In third place was Syds entry ‘Aleggs Rider, Yassen Greggorovich and Alegg Blunt in Eggle Strike’ Judges comments were ‘We thought this was an intriguingly detailed scene and very characterful’ #taedc #taedc26

Judges comments were ‘Will said that this looks EGGsactly like Salah and is an accurate representation of his current form (sans football)’ #taedc #taedc26

Highly commended was Jo’s entry ‘Timothegg Chalomelette in Martegg Supreme’. Judges comments were ‘We loved the use of wire (paperclip?) for glasses. And ‘Chalomelette’ was our favourite pun of all the entries. We are still saying it.’ #taedc #taedc26
