We began as a small studio ready to make our mark, armed with new tools, restless energy, and the kind of multi-disciplinary thinking to compete with anyone. Over time, that spirit became a reputation, and that reputation became a body of work we’re deeply proud of. “Good rain knows when to fall, stirring new growth the moment spring arrives.”
Inspired by the Chinese poet Du Fu’s famous verse, we created a launch film with @huawei for their first jewelry-grade watch. Like spring’s arrival, we follow a single raindrop as it transforms and leads us to the full reveal of the watch. Our concept carries the Fibonacci-inspired brand motif, capturing the technicality of watchmaking while grounding it in nature. The film doesn’t make a statement so much as it unfolds into one, preserving a quiet sense of vitality until the very last moment.

Some things are better experienced than seen. Drawing from the visual motifs of the modern street culture, we created two installation films to launch the StreetVision line by @nike : an anamorphic reveal of the new Ava Rover shoe inside an LED cube and a projection on an 85-foot wall that wraps the space.
As you move through the installations, you find yourself no longer in a gallery, but instead walking through a city, its streets lined with everyday happenings. A basketball thudding against concrete. Sirens and honks that echo down the block. A streetlamp flickering overhead. The shadows that stretches under the distant city lights. Industrial, gritty, and alive, this sensorial playground beckons you to explore, and immerses you completely in its dreamlike world.

We set out to bring their newest in-app capabilities into motion, using the brand’s most recognizable elements as our building blocks. The chiclets. The C. The colours. A visual language that makes Coinbase unmistakable.

The cell was one of the toughest creative challenges.
Early on, we built a ‘cellburster’ simulation, a violent rupture designed to echo the chestburster legacy. It worked technically, but creatively it proved too literal for what the piece needed.
The breakthrough was the concept of a three-way cell division. Immediately unnatural and alien. From there we built an entire toolkit of layered Houdini systems: fluid-driven organs, vascular growth, membranes under tension, a pulsing heart that physically drove internal motion.
We simulated everything, and instead of controlling every frame, we went looking for moments inside the sims... things that felt like we were witnessing something we shouldn’t be seeing. It feels less like something designed and more like something discovered.

For Alien: Earth, we joined forces with the team at FX Networks on a Clio Award–winning campaign, and our piece of it was something we’d been waiting our whole careers to do.
Our role centered on the hero promo film Gestation, extending the mythology and building a bridge between practical creature work and digital worldbuilding. The goal was invisible craft. You should never know where reality ends and CG begins. 👽

When Steve Viola and Mike Parks at FX invited us to contribute to Alien: Earth, it felt surreal. Our team grew up on these films.
This is the sci-fi side of Tendril people don’t always see. The worldbuilding obsession underneath the refined design systems.
We began with two provocations: If H.R. Giger had designed Earth, what would it look like? And what does new life look like before it becomes a monster?
We used scale as a framework—planetary, landscape, cellular, molecular—and found that at the earliest stages, reptile, mammal, human, and Xenomorph look disturbingly alike. The line between species blurs. Innocence and horror coexist. The familiar becomes terrifying.
