SOFT STRUCTURES
March 10th - April 10th, 2026
Curated by Catherine Ashley
OPENING RECEPTION
TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Imagine home as something practiced rather than possessed. Soft Structures features works born from spaces gentled through cultural tradition, repetition, and care: a song passed down, a meal improvised, a room rearranged again and again. Here, shelter is not permanent, but carried in gestures, habits, and shared rhythms. In this context, softness is not passive; but is a method of endurance to carve out spaces inside hard systems. Home emerges as an ongoing act of making space where none is guaranteed. Together, Soft Structures celebrates moments of rest and belonging that persist, even when stability is conditional.
