Lift off🏌🏻‍♂️✈️ Hoe vier je de lancering van je nieuwe huisstijl het best? Met een Klub Mini Golf baan op maat natuurlijk - duh, logisch! Misschien heb je hem al gezien toen je op vakantie ging, de nieuwe huisstijl van Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. De strakke AMS stijl hebben we op de millimeter nauwkeurig omgezet in een speelse activatie van het merk ⛳️ De banen zijn ingezet tijdens het lanceringsfeest in de @sugarfactoryamsterdam , gemaakt van meer dan 400 puzzelstukken op maat uitgefreesd. En gelukkig toen het binnenkwam ook perfect passend, want het logo moet natuurlijk wel èxact nagemaakt worden. Dank aan @daymakers.group voor de geweldige opdracht - wie weet zie je deze baan binnenkort wel op @schiphol zelf bij je volgende vlucht.

Als je deze zomer ergens een speelveld aan gekke activaties ziet staan, grote kans dat ‘ie van ons is 🚐💨 Mei & juni = piekseizoen voor spellen op locatie. Wat dat betekent? Dat we heen en weer sjezen met pingpongtafels, sjoelbanen, mini golfbaan letters en andere eigenzinnige spellen. Van grasvelden op festivals tot strak georganiseerde bedrijfsevents; we zijn overal. Elke plek is anders, en dat maakt het juist zo leuk. Of we nou in het zand staan of onder TL-licht, onze spellen zorgen overal voor beweging, lachende gezichten en een beetje gezonde competitie. POV: je hele werkplaats verandert langzaam in een mini golf alfabet. 🧩🏌️‍♂️

De afgelopen maand stond onze loods vol met Mini Golf Klub onderdelen. Want ja, als je banen maakt in de vorm van letters, dan moet je ze ook stuk voor stuk bouwen, testen, afbreken, aanpassen, en… weer opbouwen en testen. 

Chaos? Ja. Leuk? JA! 

Want het is zo leuk om te zien dat die banen tot leven komen op events en vette locaties. Daarover later meer. We bouwen lekker door!

Last summer we received an invitation from Foam Photography Museum (@foam_amsterdam ) in Amsterdam to collaborate on their forthcoming project Photography Through the Lens of AI. It has been an amazing opportunity to see first hand how the museum is thinking about AI and blending physical and digital interactions. Our interactive work Ctrl.Alt.Img forms part of the group exhibition opening 30 May and runs until early September. Alongside this work we have partnered with Foam to develop an online experience that delves deeper into the themes of Ctrl.Alt.Img. In Ctrl.Alt.Img we playfully look at bias and stereotypes in generative AI tools through an interactive photo booth. Many of the images we see on social media and in the news are being created by algorithms and image-generation apps. Image banks, news outlets and social media companies are turning to technologies like Dall-E, Midjourney and Stable Diffusion to visualise the world around us. This development has an enormous influence on visual culture and our collective consciousness, but what will the world look like through the eyes of AI? And will the average person on the street have any influence on the outcome? For underrepresented groups, this AI leap into the future can further deepen the digital and social divide   Ctrl.Alt.Img was initiated by photographer @cigdemyksel Çiğdem Yüksel, designed, researched and produced by affect lab in collaboration with  documentary house  Prospektor @prospektorinsta and creative technologist Babusi Nyoni (Triple Black) and Mark Mooij.
