Launched in 2020, this free online tool allows users to explore travel destinations through contemporary craft, find craft addresses, create city itineraries and connect directly with artisans to buy objects, commission ones or partake in experiences. Presented by the Michelangelo Foundation, the platform showcases thousands of talented artisans, from glass blowers to mask makers, paper sculptors to silversmiths. Newly selected artisans appear weekly, and new countries are added throughout the year. ___ The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship is an international non-profit organisation that celebrates and preserves master craftsmanship and strengthens its connection to the worlds of design, hospitality and the wider arts. The foundation operates through several major "signature projects" to champion contemporary artisans: - 'Homo Faber' Biennial Exhibition: A major biennial celebration held in Venice that showcases hundreds of hand-crafted objects and allows visitors to meet master artisans in person. The 2026 edition, titled "An Island of Light," is scheduled for September 2026. - 'Homo Faber Guide': A curated digital platform that maps thousands of talented artisans across Europe and beyond, helping collectors and enthusiasts discover workshops and commission bespoke work. - 'Homo Faber Fellowship': An education program that facilitates knowledge transfer between master artisans and recent craft graduates to secure the future of traditional trades.

<Onggi> Pedestal Walnut, Swivel plate 2025 Recently, I've been focusing on creating sculptural forms that function as furniture, but also work well with other artworks. Interpreting the features of other artists' works in my own way and finding new design possibilities is one of the pleasures of my work. Exploring other design possibilities through the perspective of collectors and active feedback from other artists is always inspiring. 최근에는 가구의 기능을 하는 조형적 형태이면서, 다른 미술작품이 지닌 특징과 잘 어우러질 수 있는 형태를 만드는 것에 집중하고 있습니다. 다른 작가들의 작품이 지닌 특징을 제 나름대로 해석하고, 새로운 디자인의 가능성을 찾는 것은 작업의 또 다른 즐거움 중 하나입니다. 컬렉터의 관점과 동료 작가들의 적극적인 피드백을 통해 또 다른 디자인의 가능성을 모색하는 일은 늘 새로운 영감을 줍니다. ✨💛✨👂 <I’m all ears> Sculptural wall piece Cherry, Milk paint 2025 I've recently been working on a series of sculptural works that explore sculptural forms and colors. <I'm all ears> is a work that explores the possibilities of different shapes created by curved lines, applying the techniques I use in my furniture designs. The viewer can see the shapes and colors change over time as the light shines through the window, and can also enjoy the shapes of the shadows created by the curved forms. 오랜만에 인사드립니다. 최근에는 가구 디자인과 함께 조각적인 형태와 색채를 탐구한 조형 작업을 진행하고 있습니다. <I'm all ears>는 제가 가구 디자인에 주로 사용하고 있는 기법을 적용한 작업으로, 곡선이 만들어내는 다양한 형태의 가능성을 탐구한 것입니다. 창을 통해 비추는 빛의 움직임에 따라 형태와 색이 시시각각 변화하는 것을 볼 수 있으며, 굴곡진 형태가 우연에 의해 만들어내는 다양한 그림자의 형태도 함께 만나보실 수 있습니다.
