At Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, the brief wasn’t to showcase sound - it was to hide it. 🏰 Inside Palazzo del Nero, a 16th-century residence, every detail is protected, every surface matters. The challenge was to deliver a complete audio experience without disrupting the historic architecture. Together with Studio Sound Service and Nueva, we approached it as a balance of precision and restraint. Compact K-array systems integrated into walls, woodwork and structure, often requiring entirely custom solutions so the sound is felt, not seen. The challenge continued in the Conventino, a former chapel now used for events. Its reverberant acoustics and heritage constraints required a system that could deliver clarity and control without altering the space’s character. We’re incredibly proud of this project in our hometown of Firenze. A glimpse into Waves Music, the largest production hub in Liguria (Genoa). 🌊 For this project, we focused on balancing high-end technical performance with a sleek, modern architectural feel. The greyscale palette creates a focused atmosphere, while strategically tilted windows ensure perfect inter-visibility between rooms without compromising the acoustics. One of the highlights? Control Room A. Designed with a “Non-Environment” approach—featuring a reflecting front and an absorbing back—it hosts flush-mount monitors embedded in a heavy dry wall for maximum power and precision. Merging ancient tradition with high-end acoustics. Located in a historic Piedmontese “Trunera,” the Fiery Water Recording Studio features raw earth walls that offer a naturally unique sonic character. To preserve the integrity of these historic structures, we designed a completely non-invasive treatment: Custom Tube Traps: Floor-to-ceiling cylinders that absorb and diffuse without a single nail in the walls. Non-Environment Design: A solid, reflective front paired with strategic absorption for clinical accuracy. Ad-hoc Diffusion: Custom binary amplitude diffusers to master the challenges of the concave ceiling.
