I’m still processing what happened on Monday night. The opening of (RE)Defining Zionism: Portraits and Perspectives from a Post-October 7 Israel at UCLA—after a year of interviews, photographs, and deeply emotional conversations—was overwhelming in the best way. Over 200 people showed up, to see the exhibit, and to engage with the powerful, complex, and sometimes contradictory voices of Israelis today. There are portraits of Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Druze. Some religious, some secular. Some who believe deeply in Zionism, but define it in different ways. Others who feel conflicted or reject it entirely. Spoiler: none of them are calling for the destruction or elimination of Israel. If you understand Zionism only through social media, chances are you’ve been fed a version that’s flat, false, polarized and weaponized. This project doesn’t give answers. It’s simply about listening, understanding, and empathizing. With individual stories and individual humans. The exhibit is open daily at Hillel at UCLA through June 13. If you want to hear about upcoming events, leave a comment or send me a DM. And if you have seen the show, please share what stayed with you. . Many thanks to @karinapiresphotography for the 📸 . . #ucla #zionism #constructivedialogue #understandingthroughart #antizionism

The opening of “(RE)Defining Zionism: Portraits and Perspectives from a Post-October 7 Israel” was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Over 200 people came—not just to view the images, but to wrestle with them. To listen to stories of grief, pride, anger, hope, and contradiction. To open their minds to complexity, rather than settle for slogans. This project isn’t about extremism, partisanship, or weaponization. It’s about art, storytelling, and reclaiming space for conversation and education—especially on a college campus. If your understanding of Zionism comes mostly from social media, chances are you’ve absorbed a distorted, one-sided narrative. This exhibit invites you to look deeper. The show is open daily at UCLA Hillel through June 13. I’ll also be speaking at a few upcoming events—DM me for details or visit the link in my bio to learn more. If you were at the opening: What stayed with you? I’d love to hear your reflections. The conversation is just beginning—and if you’re interested in helping bring this to another campus or community, reach out. #ucla #zionism #antizionism #israel #redefiningzionism #seeforyourself #exhibitopening

The kind where *you* are the masterpiece. When was the last time you remembered that?

She couldn’t remember the last time she liked a photo of herself. Because there’s a difference between being photographed and being truly seen. DM me if you’d like to know more about this experience, specifically for women over 40. #studioslb #redefiningsuccess #40over40

The response to my last post was fascinating. So many of you related to the brains vs beauty dichotomy and the mental gymnastics we often find ourselves doing, even subconsciously. A couple of you mentioned the idea that aging makes you feel invisible. But that some of us have learned to use that invisibility as a kind of freedom. That’s just one of the things I want to explore with my next project. What I do with my camera is create a space where something true gets revealed: the parts of you that have lived, overcome, built, and given. I photograph HER. In portraits and words. Black and white. 40 women. And at the end, one evening to share the images and stories, and to witness each other. This is the heart of REDEFINING SUCCESS — my new portrait project, which officially launches today, on International Women’s Day. The only rule is that you must be over 40 — in your 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond. REDEFINING SUCCESS is not just about how you look. Yes — you will look beautiful. Yes — the lighting is intentional. Yes — black and white is forgiving and powerful and timeless. But that’s not the point. The point is recognition. The point is choosing yourself. I think two kinds of women are reading this right now: the ones who are ready to be seen, and the ones who are curious but not quite sure. This is for both of you. If you feel ready, I invite you. And if you’re just curious — you’re still invited. Showing up is the first act of honoring yourself. DM me the word CURIOUS and let’s start there. No pressure, no pitch — just a conversation. Happy International Women’s Day. You have earned the right to be seen.

Vulnerable post incoming. I’m sharing a type of photo I don’t normally share. First, it’s a photo of me. Second, it’s soft. And a little flirty, and doesn’t serve any particular “purpose.” As someone who has always led with my brain before my beauty — even typing that word feels slightly *cringe* when talking about myself — this photo, and doing this shoot at all, was genuinely out of my comfort zone. I grew up believing that I could either be taken seriously, and how I looked was secondary, or I could be “shallow”, and focus on how I looked at the cost of being taken seriously. Can you relate? As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that yes, women are held to these ridiculous standards, but it doesn’t mean we have to accept them as truth. I look at younger generations and really admire the way they’ve pushed back against these limiting beliefs. It also helps that getting older brings the gift of caring far less about what other people think, and being more concerned about showing up in my life feeling aligned with what brings me meaning. It’s taken me a long time to get to this. In fact, this shoot is a couple of years old, and I’m still grappling with how I feel about even putting it out here. I’m not fishing for compliments. Genuinely curious if you have struggled with this too. Photo by my dear friend and colleague @christinejohnsonloves

As we step into 2026, I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on just how much gratitude surrounds my life. I want to give a special shoutout to Ann Marie, truly the best business partner I could ever ask for, and to every client and partner who has trusted us along the way. Selling LA Luxury began as a vision board dream when I was a brand-new realtor… born from purpose, passion, and faith. Since officially launching in 2021, we’ve experienced overwhelming support, incredible clients, and some of the hardest yet most meaningful lessons that come with building a real estate team rooted in people over profit. We’ve committed to operating with integrity and strong morals, even in an industry where choosing a quick check over character can be tempting. Ann Marie, thank you for bringing your deep wisdom, experience, and steadiness into our partnership and for standing beside me through everything under the sun. And to our clients and partners: thank you for believing in us, trusting us with your journeys, and allowing us to serve you. You are the reason I’ve grown into the businesswoman I am today. Because of you, Selling LA Luxury has officially surpassed $100,000,000 in sales—a milestone I don’t take lightly. Now, let’s make 2026 the year we do $100,000,000 annually, because I know God has placed us here to positively impact so many lives and we’re just getting started. ✨🙏🏽
